Baytowne Mardi Street Pardi
It’s time to let the good times roll! Tuesday, March 1, the Baytowne Mardi Street Pardi celebrates the culmination of the Carnival Season with an enthralling Village Street Party at Baytowne Wharf. Join this free event on Tuesday, March 1 from 6 to 8 PM and experience music, street performers, entertainers, and more!
Various parties will ensue after the parade, so don your most festive wears and head out to laissez les bon temps rouler one last time in celebration of Mardi Gras!

Pass the Mac & Cheese, Please on March 6
Bring your appetites to the 4th Annual Mac and Cheese Festival presented by COX Media to the Destin Commons on Sunday, March 6 from noon to 3 PM. It’s a family-friendly event with gourmet twists on everyone’s favorite super-start side dish.
The event is $45 for VIC (Very Important Cheese) admission, $25 for adults, and $15 for kids ages 5 to 16. The event’s proceeds go to benefit a worthy group, The Boys and Girls Clubs of the Emerald Coast.
Silent Disco Party at HarborWalk Village
Put on your dancing shoes and hit the silent disco party every Wednesday during Spring Break! The party starts on Wednesday, March 16 and runs through April 13. The event, which allows you to don sanitized headphones, so you can jam to your own jive, runs from 7 to 10 PM.
Mermaids & Pirates at the HarborWalk
Starting on Thursday, March 17 at the HarborWalk in Destin, you can experience real live adventure. Mermaids & Pirates is an opportunity for curious kiddos to search for hidden treasure and magical mermaids. There’s also a live performance from Captain Davy each Thursday. This family-fun event is from 5 to 8 PM on Thursdays from March 17 to April 14, 2022.
St. Paddy’s Day Family Party—Paint the Village Green
We know St. Patrick’s Day is actually on March 17, but this year, St. Patrick’s Day falls on a Thursday, so shenanigans have been scheduled to ensue on the weekend, Saturday, March 19, 2022 at the HarborWalk Village.
You can expect an Irish dance performance, kid-friendly activities, a leprechaun treasure hunt, and fun surprises for lucky adults.
The event is from 2 to 4 PM. The Carpenter Academy of Irish Dance show begins at 2:30 PM. Live music from the Shenanigans will keep everyone on their toes!
Starting Saturday, March 19, swing by the docks at HarborWalk Village for an outdoor, open-air concert series! Each Saturday during spring break will be a new concert. Don’t miss the next show on Saturday, March 26.
Sunday Cinema at the Village at Baytowne Wharf
While the details of what’s showing are getting hammered out, don’t hesitate to grab a lawn chair and head over of Baytowne Wharf every Sunday starting on March 20.
At 7:15 PM, a film will be featured on the Events Lawn Plaza. This is a fun, family-friendly outdoor event that everyone can’t get enough of! Keep an eye on the Baytowne events calendar page for what’s showing.
Monday Hydroflight Shows
Fly-board specialist Ben Merrell will wow you and your entire family as he takes hydroflight over the lagoon at Baytowne Wharf on Mondays from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM. Fly-boarding shows start on Monday, March 21 and will take place every Monday at Baytowne Wharf until Monday, April 4.
Boomin’ Tuesdays
Let loose and dance like you’re on vacation (oh, wait!) at Boomin’ Tuesdays at the Village at Baytowne Wharf event plaza on Tuesdays from 6:30 to 8:30 PM. DJ Mike Whitty gets the party going. She show culminates with a breathtaking fireworks display over the lagoon at 8:30 PM
Magical Thursdays
Family-friendly fun takes the stage on Thursdays at Baytowne Wharf starting on March 24. The show runs from 7 to 9 PM as Captain Davey takes you on an adventure with two magic shows on stage
Bubble Over for Bubbly Baytowne
Bubbly Baytowne is a fun and free event for adults ages 21 and over at the Village at Baytowne Wharf. Enjoy complimentary sips of champagne to sample as you shop Baytowne Wharf. This fun event only takes place on select Thursdays throughout the year.
Thursday, March 24 from 5 to 7 PM is one such time, so plan to step out and toast the town before having a magical night in Destin.
