Things to Do

Say HELLO to sunshine and sand while the rest of the country is pulling out their sweaters! Even if you’re only spending three days in the paradise of our Emerald Coast, you can make the most out of a weekend at the beach.

Day 1
Morning: Once you’ve started your arrival and checked into your home-for-the-weekend with My Vacation Haven, you’re ready to check out your community area and see what is available! Relaxing Bayside in Fisherman’s Village? The beautiful Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is steps away, full of amazing shopping and restaurants sure to please your entire group! With options of both easy quick grab breakfasts or brunch places to enjoy your meal leisurely, there is no doubt you will find a warm (or iced- you are at the beach after all!) to jump start your day.
Afternoon: Once the day gets into full swing, it’s time to soak up some sun! Staying in Westwinds on the beachside of the Resort? Check out the lagoon-style community pool in view of the Gulf of Mexico!
Night: Once the sun sets, enjoy your first night with a delicious dinner at one of the many restaurants located within Grand Boulevard in Miramar Beach, just a quick golf cart ride away from your stay at the Tivoli in Sandestin!

Day 2
Morning: Start your morning with a walk down stunning Scenic 98 from your stay in Destiny By The Sea! Enjoy a coffee while watching the Florida sunrise above the western side of the gulf on top of a well positioned patio, that many restaurants on the shore have to offer!
Afternoon: Enjoy being active during your vacation? Ride the 19 mile bike trail along 30A to your unit in Seacrest Beach! 30A rarely sees high volumes of traffic and since it isn’t a “bustling city,” getting around is quite easy and painless, and the landscape is lovely. Seacrest contains some of the highest sand dunes in all of 30A, and it is rumored that you can see dolphins in the distance from the top of those dunes!
Night: You can’t spend time at the beach without sampling amazing seafood at one of the many restaurants located inside Baytowne Village at the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort! If you’re staying at the Grand Sandestin, you are only a minute walk from your many dinner options around the Baytowne Circle.

Day 3
Morning: Begin a quiet morning on your Le Jardin balcony overlooking a beautiful garden courtyard in the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort! Le Jardin is gated within a breathtaking courtyard featuring flowers and fountains to welcome you. Le Jardin is within steps of The Village of Baytowne Wharfs lineup of restaurants, shops and entertainment options.
Afternoon: Let’s hit the beach! Luau 1 and 2, located beachside inside the Resort, provide walking access to the sugar white sands of the Emerald Coast. Don’t forget your beach supplies- provided for free by My Vacation Haven!

Night: Staying at Prominence on Scenic Highway 30A? Spend your final night at The Hub- the area’s newest place for food and family fun! The Hub has a full stage, grassy area with chairs and sofas to watch live music, numerous eatery spots from ice cream to BBQ, and spots for a little shopping as well!
