Popular restaurant presents annual family-friendly celebration on May 6 & 7 during ArtsQuest
Cantina Laredo Gourmet Mexican Restaurant presents their 8th annual Cinco de Mayo celebration on Friday, May 6 at 5 p.m. and Saturday, May 7 at 7 p.m. This family-friendly event takes place at Grand Park in Grand Boulevard and at Cantina Laredo’s restaurant.
This year’s event takes place within ArtsQuest Fine Arts Festival weekend, the popular juried art show with more than a hundred artists and numerous musical acts performing throughout Grand Boulevard’s Town Center.
Kicking off the fun Friday night of music, dancing, food and beverages is DJ Vasco who will spins Latin music while exhibition Latin dancers put on a show and invite the crowd to join in.
Friday night, the fun kicks off at 5 p.m. with Cantina Laredo’s tasty tacos and nachos for sale and special margarita cocktails, created especially for the event will be showcased during the weekend events.
The Cinco Rita is made of five premium silver tequilas with fresh lime juice and Cointreau orange liquor, the Verde Infusion Rita is a cucumber-infused Mezcal with Milagro Silver, fresh lime and agave nectar and both will sell for $5 dollars. Bottle and draft Mexican beers will be $3 dollars on Friday and Saturday.

Saturday night, Mobile-based The Modern Eldorados take to the ArtsQuest main stage at 7 p.m. to play their energetic brand of county, rockabilly and Americana music. Cantina Laredo will once again offer their delicious food and drinks for sale.
