“30A means good times on the Gulf Coast.” –U.S. Airways Magazine
Founded in 2007, 30A is a fun, positive and inspiring brand that celebrates the laid-back beach life that locals and visitors enjoy along Scenic Highway 30-A. But “30A is more than just a road in Florida,” said WEAR-ABC. “A website that started to promote a small stretch of coastline is fast becoming an international brand.” In fact, with over 300,000 Facebook fans around the world, “30A.com has exploded” (Southern Living).

Cruise or stroll along Old Highway 98 (strolling is often faster), and you’ll discover some colorful shrimp shacks, t-shirt shops, condo high-rises, numerous golf courses, beach boardwalks, shopping, surfing and more. Grab a pitcher of cold draft beer at Seascape‘s Whale’s Tail, perched directly on the sand, or grab a Cheeseburger in Paradise between bargain binges at Silver Sands Factory Stores. For those who find 30A’s pace of life just a little too laid-back, Miramar Beach offers a bustling alternative full of options.

Seagrove

Welcome to the middle of all the action. On the west side, you are bordered by the bustling Seaside, eventful Watercolor and laid back Grayton, and on your opposite border, you have quaint WaterSound, adorable Seacrest, pristine Alys, and the booming Rosemary and Inlet Beach just a few miles east. Click here to view our Seagrove Vacation Rentals.

Every town along 30A contains fabulous features, but Seagrove stands alone. With its own fabulous assortment of restaurants, shops and other local stops, you are never a quick walk from an eventful evening. Not only do you have quick access to the beach, you also have the peaceful waters of Eastern and Deer Lake, two of South Walton’s most beautiful waters, where you can have easy access to hiking, biking, and water activities.

Discover the charm of Seagrove, a beach neighborhood that locals and guests love. Lush oak trees, magnolias, and pines have spread deep roots in Seagrove — and so have long-time visitors who keep coming back.

Laid-back but luxurious, Seagrove is a place that embraces variety. From upscale boutiques to casual cafes, this beach neighborhood offers a little bit of everything — including two rare coastal dune lakes, a state park, and sugar-white sand.

During your stay in Seagrove, make sure to stop by the Seagrove Village Market Café for a grouper sandwich — this tasty creation was labeled one of the “100 Things You Must Eat Before You Die” by Garden & Gun. Visit 30A Art & Junk or Big Mama’s Hula Girl Gallery to discover treasures and gifts; treat yourself to a made-from-scratch popsicle at Pop Stop.

See the quiet side of Seagrove by visiting Deer Lake State Park. This 1,920-acre getaway features a beautiful boardwalk, walking trails, and a rare coastal dune lake. Pack a picnic, fishing pole, and binoculars — and witness how stunning Seagrove is in its all-natural state.

“Driving along Florida’s coast, many beach towns seem indistinguishable from the next. Not so with the beaches of South Walton… each town is noticeably different and has its own particular charm.” – Melissa Wolcott, Accent on Tampa Bay magazine .
