    The Westwinds property is immaculately clean and well-maintained. Every time we came through the lobby - either from the beach or elsewhere - someone was always mopping the floor or cleaning the rugs. We never saw so much as any trace of sand anywhere. The unit is located on the 13th floor with a beautiful, unobstructed view of the beach. The balcony has some sturdy but comfortable chairs and a high top table where you can enjoy your morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. Unfortunately the weather while we were there did not allow us to enjoy the balcony as much as we would have liked. The unit is small but perfect for two people. It was spotlessly clean but is in need of some improvements/upgrades. For instance, the dishwasher is not attached to the counter so when you open the door, it tips forward and appears as though the dishes are going to fall out. The sheets on the bed are cheap and do not fit properly. Every morning we had to pull the fitted sheet back into place over the corners of the mattress. While it’s nice the unit offers both a Keurig and a regular coffee maker, the Mr. Coffee maker in the unit is cheap and takes quite some time (10+ minutes) to brew a pot of coffee. And oddly, there was no paper towel holder in the kitchen. While some of these things may seem trivial, they are minor inconveniences/annoyances that when you are spending extra money to stay right on the beach, you do not want to detract from the overall experience.

    The resort was great and the staff we encountered, entering and exiting were also great. The condo was very nice, except for the bed. Sheets didn't really fit so they were all over the place and the mattress really, really needs to be replaced. Kitchen-ware was not good but overall everything else was very good.

    Awesome week of vacation. Westwinds does not disappoint and this condo was a success. Perfect for our family. Great view. Everything we needed was available. The only thing we dislike is people are aloud to place their own chairs in front of beach service chairs.

    Overall we enjoyed our stay. Loved the view. Our only complaint is the bed has seen better days and really needs to go. Had some rough nights. Also wished the resort had more umbrellas at the pool.

    We had a great time staying here! The condo was just the right size for the two of us! The bed was very comfy but could have used an extra blanket as it was cool when we were there. The bathroom was a nice size, with plenty of towels and travel size toiletries, as well as great water pressure and lots of hot water. Having a washer and dryer was the best, we didn't take any dirty clothes home! The view from the balcony was great, we loved sitting out there! The kitchen was small but manageable; it included an adequate amount of dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. The golf cart was awesome! We used it to visit Baytown Wharf, Grand Boulevard, and loved driving all around the property! The supply room on the ground floor was really nice too, it included several beach chairs, an umbrella, sand toys and a cooler! And the customer service was top notch, any time we had an issue or question, someone answered quickly! Thanks, Pam, for your help with the chair! We look forward to staying here again!

    We thoroughly enjoyed this trip. (FYI, the golf cart's brakes need some attention though. I did report this.) We make this trip usually in May and late August. We really enjoyed this unit!

    Great condo with a must have...”golf cart”. Convenient as right on a private beach with wonderful ocean view. Nice condo with everything you need for the beach experience like chairs umbrellas toys boards and even a wagon to drag it all out there. Having a washer and dryer was great. We could have packed a lot less. Only wore 1/4 of what we brought cuz we washed daily. My Vacation Have people were a delight and so responsive when we called. Also extremely nice. We highly recommend this condo and using My Vacation Haven. We will use them again.

    We stayed for a second time at this property this year, first as a family of 4 vacation, and this time as a couple for our anniversary. This property sits right on the beach and has spectacular views. The condo includes everything you need for a relaxing, carefree vacation!

    We stayed here in April for our honeymoon. The condo was exactly what was pictured and what we expected. The facility was clean and quiet. We really enjoyed having access to beach chairs/umbrella. Our only complaint was not being able to have any type of drink in/near the pool. When we return to San Destin, we will most likely stay at Westwinds again!

    My husband and I, along with our two children ages 7 and 5, stayed here for a week in March. My Vacation Haven was excellent to work with and was always just a phone call away if we had any questions. They reached out to me several times to ensure we were enjoing our stay. The view was spectacular, and the condo was just the right size for our family. We loved the convenience of the locker full of sand toys and chairs. The pool was the perfect size and depth for our children (1 is a swimmer and 1 isn't), and it was heated, so no matter what the temperature was, the children were comfortable. I was also very impressed by the level of security to get into the resort. My husband and I were discussing when we can return again, we loved it so much! We will definitely stay with My Vacation Haven in the future!

    The location was beautiful, beach gorgeous, landscaping outstanding! Only complaint, and we already informed the rental agency, the carpet should be cleaned or replaced!! Condo furniture nice. We would like to return...if carpet cleaned!

    We had the best time during our stay at Westwinds. My Vacation Haven has been the best rental company I have ever worked with in Destin. Everyone was very accommodating! Would definitely stay in Unit 4806 again and again! Thank You, My Vacation Haven for helping us make some family memories!

    This was our second trip to Sandestin using My Vacation Haven. This was a great one bedroom for our family of 4. Although the entry into the condo was a little cramped (compared to previous 1 bedroom in same building), that was my only issue. The property was clean and stylish. As far as the amenities provided, there was so much! I appreciate the well stocked dishes, pots and pans and most of all the Keurig!! The kids were excited about all of the beach toys provided. Wifi and smart TV (with Netflix) was a huge plus! We would definitely recommend this unit or rent again.

    Perfect for a family of 4 with two young children. Seconds from the beach and the Baytown Shuttle made going out to eat carefree. Property was clean and well maintained.

    we have stayed at westwinds the last 4 years and will continue to stay there as we love everything about it. This time we did have a small issue. The fire alarms went off and you could smell an odor that appeared to be burnt popcorn. We made it down stairs and only one other couple was outside. Fire trucks arrived and within 30 minutes the alarm went off and we went back inside. There is no one to ask or call to find out what was going on and we were told a maintenance man was with fire fighters on the 12th floor but never had anyone tell us what was going on and other guests were disappointed as well as we felt we should have been told the situation or at least been able to contact a manager or someone to find out.
