Unit 4703 is a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo on the 1st floor of the complex for easy access. No waiting in any elevator lines on this trip! When you walk in, you’ll find a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wood cabinetry, and all the extras you need for a great meal. First time to stay at West Winds on Miramar Beach We were pleasantly surprised at the easy directions to our destination The condo was very clean (I’m a picky person), the grounds were clean and well maintained, and a short walk to the beach. My daughter and I decided on a last minute getaway and this condo did not disappoint. Convenient ground floor access with quick access to pool, beach and parking. Inside was everything we needed. You can’t go wrong with Sandestin, Westwinds or My Vacation Haven. I have stayed in several of their properties and they have always provided exceptional customer service. Miramar/Destin have so much to offer as far as activities that you will find that you don't spend much time in your condo during your stay. The condo was clean, comfy, and spacious and would revisit given the opportunity.

We really enjoyed this property. The property was very close to the pool and beach access area. Also, very close to local restaurants and outlet shopping malls.Instructions sent with access codes were very specific. Just read these, and everything is explained to you. We would stay here again.

We were on the 1st floor with no beach view and were right by the exit from the building to the sidewalk towards the pool and beach, but the unit was very quiet. From inside, you couldn't hear the doors when people went in and out or even their conversations on the sidewalk, so we were never really disturbed by any noise. The unit itself was a small, 1 bedroom unit but was well appointed and met our needs, especially since we booked on short notice.

We loved our stay at the Westwinds! The location is closer to the beach than we thought-- just walk out the door and past the pool and you are at the beach! The beach was beautiful, the pool was heated to a warm temperature, and the property was very quiet. The unit had everything we needed and My Vacation Haven was easy and quick to communicate with via text. We especially loved sitting on the patio in the mornings with coffee! Our vacation was perfect! This condo was everything we had hoped for. The unit itself is spotless, the bed is clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well stocked except for a few more dishwasher pods would be helpful along with more than one loads worth of laundry soap. If you plan to stay longer than a day or two you should bring extra soap. The pool and the hotter were very clean although figuring out how to turn on the hot tub could certainly be clearer. Overall, we would absolutely stay at this property again and I would recommend to others. If I had to encourage change, it would only be that check in be made a little easier.

Despite the aftermath of hurricane Sally, our experience at Westwinds was wonderful. The condo was supplied with everything we needed. The location was convenient to the beach and to other attractions, the facility was always clean and the location, despite being on the first floor was quiet. Will definitely return again.

We have been staying at westwinds for 15 years and have never stayed on the bottom floor. We really enjoyed the convenience of the location !! No elevator line waits and quick and short walk to the beach. The condo was comfortable and clean.

Very convenient room! Loved that we were closest to the front door which made it easy to unload and load. We also never had to wait for an elevator since we were on ground level. This was our first time at Westwinds, and we will definitely come back. Very clean and well maintained! The only thing I would have changed is I wish the bed would have been more comfortable.

We loved the location of the unit and the actual unit itself. The location of the pool and beach was very convenient. The only complaint we had was that the security guard working the pool was extremely rude and had no person skills. Everyone that was around the pool that he said something too said the same thing. I understhat the law is you can’t have alcohol in the pool, but it wasn’t what he was saying but how he said it. But that is our only complaint. We will stay again.

As we had never been to Destin, we were uncertain as to where we really wanted to book giving us ease of access to what we heard to be the most breath taking beaches around. This was it for certain! While in Destin / Sandestin / Miramar, we drove around looking at various areas and now know, without a doubt, that we made the best choice for easy access to beautiful beaches and pools, golf, tennis, dining, and even a dinner cruise! The accommodations were perfect, with everything that you could possibly need .... just add groceries and you are set. You will not be dissappointed.

My room was nice and clean. Simple decor but spacious enough for my stay. Easy access to elevator and stairs. Would have been nice to have a digital or electronic entry instead of a physical key to keep up with.
