Sun Palace is a world-class rental with custom architecture, high-end amenities, Gulf views, plus high speed internet and 65” smart TVs throughout. This beachside estate features a 3-floor main house and 2-floor carriage house. The main house offers 4 bedrooms all with elegant en suite baths. On the 1st floor, you’ll find a chef’s kitchen with a Bertazonni Italian gas range, an additional oven, white cabinetry, matching appliances, oversized island, and breakfast bar. Abutting the kitchen, you’ll find an 8-person table. This floor also houses multiple living/sitting areas featuring classic furniture and chic décor, as well as an additional dining/gaming table. French doors open to a luxurious porch for the perfect outdoor entertaining space and wall-to-wall windows provide stunning views.

On the 2nd floor, you’ll find a master suite and 2 guest bedrooms, all featuring luxury en suite baths and two with Gulf view balcony access. The 3rd floor has a grand master suite featuring a Gulf view balcony, gathering room with wet bar, TV, and fireplace, along with a spa-inspired bathroom with 2 vanities, walk-in shower, plus soaker tub.

Connected by a 2nd floor balcony is the property’s carriage house. This sanctuary features a full kitchen, living room, and king bedroom with full bath. The carriage house’s downstairs features two custom built bunk beds (twin over full) to offer even more sleeping space for larger parties.

We had 8 adults and 6 [grand]kids for a wonderful week in Destiny by the Sea. Sun Palace sits as close as you can get to the beach without being one of the on-beach homes, and it's just 2 homes south of the community pool. Plenty of space and amenities for our large family group. We had a couple of maintenance items that arose, but they were promptly fixed with no inconvenience to us at all.

Our group of 4 couples made our 10th annual trip to Destiny By The Sea. First stay at Sun Palace. This could be our new annual trip home! Love the proximity to the beach. Loved the extras in the kitchen….2 ovens, warmer, ice maker. And the living room/TV room areas are large enough to very comfortably accommodate our group of 8. We love to sit and talk, joke and laugh, enjoy some adult beverages together, and some other homes just don’t have a space or seating enough for all 8 of us. The balconies on 2nd and 3rd levels have a nice view of the water, and the front porch on the first level is a great place to relax in the shade with a good book. While we didn’t use it, the carriage house is a huge plus for bigger groups. And, the management company was super efficient, proactive in checking in with us to make sure everything was perfect, and quick to respond to our questions. All in all, Sun Palace is, in our group’s view, at the top of the list of the 10 houses we’ve stayed in at Destiny By The Sea.

Our vacation rental was fabulous, very nice decorated but still felt homey. It has more amenities than most rental,like 2 ovens, ice maker, warmer and super nice long island where the family really enjoyed watching others cook and was able to do a lot of tasting. TVs are everywhere you want one.
The carriage house was perfect for our son's family. The 4 kids were in a separate area from parents.The elevator was a big plus considering my legs, lol
The big bonus went to our daughter n love who was celebrating a birthday
They got the top suite with a separate seating area, huge bathroom and king size spacious bedroom. All I can say it was the price and we enjoyed every minute we were there.

We really enjoyed our girl trip. The house was furnished with everything. The only thing we were confused about the trash pickup. We had more trash on our last night and we really didn't know what to with the big trash can on the outside. We had a lot of trash from the Birthday Dinner.

Our very large group had a blast! Just a super quick walk to the beach (stairs to get to sand level) and a quick walk to the pool! Everything is right where you need it to be! The house is exquisite and the chandeliers in many room make you feel like you are staying in luxury! There are a few kitchen small appliances that need updating but nothing that ruined our trip and the property manager agreed to see to the items once I made them aware. Their whole staff was wonderful to deal with and quick to respond. This is definitely a corporate owned house and you are not dealing directly with the owner which was actually nice in that they had staff that could respond within a few minutes.
The views from every single balcony were beautiful! While not ocean front you can definitely get your morning coffee or evening cocktail with a view of the water! Definitely book this property for your next vacation.

My family and I recently stayed at Sun Place and could not have been happier. The home is beautiful, and the location is perfect. It's easy to get spoiled with the spacious house and its many accommodations, convenient access to the private beach & community pool, gated community, and so much more. We had a very nice time on vacation. This home is beautiful and accommodating for our large group. The location is also perfect with great beach access. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the master suite AC was not working when we arrived and the temperature in the suite was in the upper 80's. The management company did respond and put in a space AC which struggled to cool off the whole space. The 2nd floor AC was not working well either but not as hot. They did repair this but the humidity in the home was still high. At the end of the week, the main floor AC was not working at the management company was not able to get anyone one site to repair. They ended up moving the small space AC unit to the first floor. They notified us that someone would be out but never followed up after to say that they couldn't get an AC repair company to respond. I realize these types of things are hard to manage but good communication is always best. My other recommendations would be for additional porch furniture.

It is a super house like with all the characteristics described on the web. Live is super more beautiful. I am super delighted with this property. They are very attentive. I experienced that the air in the house was a bit hot and I called and they immediately solved the problem. The comfort of the bed is extraordinary. The decoration is spectacular. My family and I will be back soon. We left more than delighted. we love this house. all the amenities are perfect. rather, there are two houses in one, why on the other side there is a house. smaller but super comfortable.

Destiny by the Sea rivals all other Destin locations in my opinion. The beach is private and access is steps away from the Sun Palace, not a “short walk” or just private access as so many places in Destin advertise. This beach is like no other as only guests and owners may use the beach. It’s never crowded, always clean and the water just takes your breath away. There is company right on the beach who offer rentals for the week, umbrellas, chairs, kayaks ect. This home also comes with its own embroidered beach chairs. We have stayed at other homes in the neighborhood and this one is at the top of the list. It’s location to the pool (one house away) and the beach along with the amazing amenities make it a five star for sure. The carriage house is an awesome space with an additional kitchen, laundry and enough space to sleep at least 8 people. Rent a pontoon at high tide and go out to crab island for some fun, eat at Boshamps, Brotulas, walk to the Crab Trap for the top shelf Margarita and the smoked tuna dip. But really just spend as much time as you can on that beautiful beach!
