We stayed at Our Destiny for our spring break getaway and loved everything about the home. The kids were so excited to each have their own room. The location is superb, and so close to the beach and our favorite crab restaurant! There were beach toys, a beach wagon, chairs, and umbrellas for us to supplement with our gear. You’ll need to bring your own beach/pool towels. We rented a golf cart for our stay which was through Destin Elite Carts, they are currently the only contracted option for this community. The fenced in backyard was a great space for our fur babies who made the trip with us. The kitchen was well stocked, we enjoyed cooking many meals together. (Bring any seasonings and baggies/foil/etc you might need for your meals and prep.) They provide a starter pack of trash bags, laundry detergent, and dishwasher pods but you’ll need more if you stay longer than 2-3 days. The entire home is beautifully decorated and has a warm, homey feel. We will definitely be coming back in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is incredible! The location is perfect for us. Not on the beach, but only a short walk away. The neighborhood is gated, and very quiet. We had zero check-in issues, and were contacted our first day to make sure everything was okay. Highly recommend it for a group or large family.

With 4 adults and a two-and-a-half year old and 11week old, we had various needs. This home met them all. Parents took both babies to beach in morning and made a trip to pool with oldest one in afternoon. Home is beautiful with great yard space for running around. They walked to pool but took car to beach. (Older kid and adults can easily access beach.). They loved eating lunch at Crab Trap. Quiet home and easy drive to shopping, movies and wonderful places to eat.

Perfect experience! Found the home, reserved it, paid deposit. Contacted later for reminder that balance would be paid with reserved card to reminder to take out the garbage during visit. Loved departure reminder as well. Beautifully maintained home exactly as described. Short walk to pool and beach. Close to everything but lovely and quiet. Two master suites with two rooms for babies on different sleep schedules. We’ll be back!

We rented this lovely home for an extended weekend getaway and it was truly wonderful in every way. Spacious, clean, beautiful and well laid out for the five of us. The furniture and bedding was extremely comfortable and it felt like home! The kitchen is equipped with everything you need and there’s a pretty little backyard to hang out in. This two
floor property provided ample privacy and I loved that there is a washer and dryer on each floor. The decor was all very tasteful and it truly made our vacation extra wonderful! Property managment and the owner were extremely friendly, helpful and prompt in answering any questions, both before our visit and during. I already miss the comfy and spacious sectional in the living room! If you come across this review and are looking for one of the best properties to rent in Destin, this is it. This beautiful house was in the perfect location and allowed my family and dogs to enjoy themselves comfortably! The house was decorated so beautifully and had more then what we needed! This beautiful house was perfect from the spacious layout and perfectly decorated decor to the just right backyard! It had everything we needed to just enjoy our stay! The location is perfect! Just a short walk to the beach and in the middle of everything you could want to do from shopping to activities and all the restaurants! The management company was great to work with! Overall this was great stay. We had some issues when checking in. We did not receive an email with the gate code or front door code until we asked for it late into the evening. The host was extremely easy to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. The tvs were confusing to work. I wish that all the TVs had fire sticks or Rokus, because it was confusing. Otherwise, we had a wonderful stay. We rented a golf cart and that was perfect. The location was great. The beds were very comfortable. The dogs loved the backyard. We will definitely stay again! The house was very nice. When I arrived I had a problem getting the correct codes to access the property as well as the entrance gate. The staff worked diligently to get them to me and after that everything was smooth sailing. The house was well equipped with everything we needed. I would definitely recommend and stay again.

Our stay was 10 out of 10 and we will return to this house. The house is beautiful, the picture do not give the full experience. I love how close and easy the beach access, you’re literally across the street. The community felt very safe and really quite. I loved the pool convenience, there was plenty of chairs and tables for everyone. The people were also very friendly around the subdivision. Your just a short drive away from restaurants, and other stores. Everything you need is within a 10-15min drive.

Traveling with Kids: the house is spacious, and has literally everything you would need for a beach day. Ton of beach toys, surf boards, chairs, and wagon to transport. it just doesn’t have a cooler. The wagon is very big can fit almost anything if packed correctly.

Feedback for house: I recommend having extra towels, trash bags, and tissue. These are basic necessities in my opinion and we were only given limited supplies. We had 1 towel for each person and two rolls of tissue, 1 extra trash bag for the kitchen and restroom, We ran out by day 2 ( Family of 10)

Also, The app didn’t have the correct gate code when we arrived so we had to wait for the security to let us in. That was annoying b/c we arrived late

Overall a great experience with My Vacation Haven and Our Destiny. This was our first stay in Destin and we could not have been happier. The rental space was great - not the newest, but more than met our needs. The backyard was just perfect for our dog. The walk out of the gated community and along old 98 was just what we needed to start our days. The kitchen was just great. If there is one thing I would change it would be to replace the counter height stools with bar height stools. That would make the breakfast bar usable. So how much did we enjoy our stay? We already rebooked for next winter! Thanks for sharing this beautiful home with me, my husband, our dog, and our good friends.

Great house to stay in for large family house was very clean Had an issue with one of dryers maintenance came immediately and got it taken care of. Rental company was very friendly and helpful. Only thing that was an issue to my family and may not be to others is tv channels in bedrooms weren’t very good. Living room tv had better channels and Wi-Fi did not reach upstairs very well. Overall all the house was very good great location!

We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable and the owner was easy to work with. We brought our dog and he enjoyed the fenced backyard. We enjoyed walking him around the neighborhood. The beach was a five minute walk, as was the Crab Trap, which we walked to several times for dinner and to watch the sunset. Would stay again!

We rented this house for fall break for family and our two dogs. The house was perfect for our needs and in particular, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen. The pictures of the kitchen were one of the reasons we picked the house and we were not disappointed. The fenced in back yard was great for our dogs and we sat out back having coffee every morning. The gated community was nice and quiet and the pool and other community amenities were nice and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again.

We arrived Sunday Aug. 21, 2022 and stayed at My Destiny a week. The house was furnished and decorated nicely. Beds were so comfy with lots of pillows. Kitchen was stocked very well with an amazing stove. Pool was clean, good sized with never a crowd issue. Tennis and Pickleball courts with gym by pool. Beach was perfect, wide open stretch with large condos. We has an amazing stay. We will be back soon! The management company was nice and very AccommodatingEverything was excellent!
