We did love the location, an easy walk to restaurants and shops. A good workout walk just outside of the property to the movie theater and upscale shopping, a wine bar, and more restaurants. Also close to bike rentals and kayaking. Will love to stay there again.

We 1st couldn't get in to our 1st Condo that we reserved and paid for and took a while to get someone to help. Find out they were doing construction work and they and painting. They moved us to another condo with more problems and same thing going on with a lot of noise. Then they moved us again with more problems and things not working.

Took my daugther and her friend down to Destin area beaches. Originally was looking at beach locations but then knew about the Baytowne Wharf and picked this nice gem out of the mix. Great location that has a little bit of everything. Only downside was the parking garage(s) and extra traffic but wasn't anything that we considered too negative.

Awesome vacation. Loved the condo and location right in the middle of Baytowne Wharf, so much to do for the kiddos. Be aware you can hear live music from Rum Runners until about 11 pm but really wasn’t an issue for us.

This condo was the perfect location to enjoy the restaurants, activities and entertainment at Baytowne Wharf. The huge patio was so relaxing, and the pool was beautiful and so convenient. Having a place to park in the garage was also very nice. They have trams to take you to the beach if you didn't want to drive or ride your bikes there. Sandestin Resort is so beautiful with all the golf courses, and we loved riding our bikes and walking on the bike/walking paths. Would definitely stay at this condo again!

Perfect Balcony View

It has been years since we had visited Destin! Taking a long road trip to see family we stayed 5 nights in this lovely apartment. Although housekeeping had accidentally locked us out of the Master BR and the front bathroom’s toilet seat was broken, these issues were quickly addressed. We also had not downloaded the app prior to arrival from My Vacation Haven. Definitely I would advise you to do so for the private garage code! I do recommend for VRBO renters that this code and instructions for parking in the garage would be shared with the keyless door code for future renters. As this unit is located in Observation Point North there is a private, covered garage available vs the crowded public garage entry.
The beds are comfortable, kitchen basically stocked, and 2 of the 3 TV’s worked (the guest BR didn’t, but this was not an issue for us!). The dryer barely worked, but when I reported the issue someone came quickly to try to repair it.
Trying to stay socially distant the wrap-around balcony was the perfect site of our apartment! Above the Events plaza with the crowds below us we enjoyed music, hearing the movie on the large screen, fireworks and people watching. The beach is not close for easily walking, and we avoided the trams. Not to mention the packed beach we also avoided! We did walk through the huge neighborhoods and loved the boardwalks over the water.
There are so many options for take out dining! Not so for outdoor dining. Our favorite restaurants were Vin’Tij and Tommy Bahama. Within this resort are many restaurants that due to COVID we avoided. Although there was information about staying socially distant, at this time from our perch above the people we didn’t see many masks used. But the stairs are convenient to the garage to also avoid the small elevator.

IT WAS A PLEASANT STAY. NO WHERE IS EVER LIKE HOME, BUT IT WAS NICE AND HAD PRETTY MUCH EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED. IT WAS A LITTLE SMALLER THAN I EXPECTED. HOWEVER YOU'RE GONE MOST OF THE TIME AND REALLY ONLY SLEEP THERE. A LITTLE NOISY FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE QUEST BEDROOM, BECAUSE THERE IS A LIVE MUSIC AREA ACROSS THE YARD AND A BAR THAT WAS PRETTY LOUD AT NIGHT. OTHER THAN THAT IT WAS GREAT. POOL WAS NICE AND RIGHT OFF OF YOUR FLOOR. PARKING WAS A BIT CHALLENGING, BUT IT WORKED OUT. I APPRECIATE YOU SHARING YOUR HOME WITH US.

The condo was very well appointed and we had plenty of room for our family of six. The wraparound balcony was great for people watching and listening to the entertainers on the stage below. Baytowne Wharf is one of our favorite places and this condo did not disappoint!

Beautiful condo. Plenty of space for myself and my 5 kiddos with the sofa bed. Loved the location in Baytowne. We could wake up, grab coffee and breakfast, walk out on pier to watch dolphins swim, play at playground without getting in car. Evenings were great to eat dinner and do activities in Baytowne and not have to worry about driving home.
My only complaint is that we were not given access to private parking garage. We were supposed to park in the public parking garage. The spaces are extremely narrow for my Yukon and it was rare to find an open space to park. That added a ton of stress to my vacation. A nice family gave me the code to the private parking area. After having the ability to park there, I was able to enjoy the rest of our vacation. I would NOT stay here again without access to private parking.
