This spacious two story property is as delightful as its quirky name – Hook Wine and Sinker! Located in fashionable Crystal Beach, this family vacation home is designed after a traditional Southern residence. So, you’ll be tempted to linger longer on the spacious wraparound porch. But once you step inside, deeply exhale as worries evaporate, and the vacation begins in this light, airy coastal dwelling.

Windows, strategically placed, allow for beautiful vistas to let the sunshine in as you enjoy the pleasures of the Gulf of Mexico, just steps away. The beach is only a couple of blocks from this rental house, with complimentary beach chair setups at the Barracuda Street access.
There’s plenty of seating throughout the house, both inside and out, for a crowd to share stories of their daily adventures. Meals can be served in the roomy dining area that seats ten or on the relaxing, ample screened porch. The kitchen is outfitted with gourmet appliances any chef would covet, with room for everyone to participate in the preparations.

There are various options for sleeping choices in this 4 bedroom, 3 bath home, with privacy for everyone, allowing for days of getting more restful sleep. A step-in shower and soaking tub in the master suite allow you the luxury of completely unwinding at the end of an exhilarating day.

Privacy is ensured within a fenced, shady backyard that holds some delightful surprises! Around the fire pit, fishing buddies can tell stories of “the one that got away” or use the gas grill to enjoy what was actually caught. Likewise, the secluded, lit gazebo would allow for rousing card games. Plus, this cozy yet expansive entertainment area allows families to oversee the preparation of s’mores for the kids. At the same time, the efficient exercise pool is close enough for parents to sit on the porch to un-wine, while keeping an eye on all the multiple activities being enjoyed.

Several families could enjoy vacationing together as the adjoining property, The Hideaway, can be rented simultaneously (upon availability), allowing up to 19 people to gather.

The vacation would not be complete without visiting nearby Miramar Beach and Destin. Seemingly limitless sporting options and fine dining await. Then, to enjoy a bit of local color, take a drive down Scenic 30A. Your daily excursions are only limited by your imagination, and we’re confident you’ll get hooked on this area for years to come.

    The house was spacious and beautiful! The pool is a little small but my kids are young so it was fine. Plenty of space in the backyard to hang out and the screened in porch area is very nice. The beach is very close as is multiple restaurants and shops. The location was perfect and we would def stay here again. A few maintenance issues but they were VERY prompt and responsive about fixing them. 10/10 recommend!

    This is our 2nd time staying at this home. Such an easy walk to the beach. Minutes away from driving to great outdoor mall, shopping, groceries or restaurant. Love the house so open, great front porch and screened in back porch. Love that outdoor shower has hot water so not so cold on little ones! We would stay again next time we come.

    We had a fabulous four-day stay at this property. It is chock-full of amenities. Front porch with seating, screened in back porch with seating, cabana/grill area, cornhole, private swimming pool,,,,, plenty of space to spread out. House was beautifully decorated. Kitchen stocked with absolutely anything that would be needed. Perfect location.It is the first time that we have booked with this company and I would only advise to be aware of the extra fees that are added when booking (seemed a little excessive). But our stay was fantastic and would indeed recommend this property.

    House is beautiful with lots of extra seating spaces on both front and back porches. Plenty of room to spread out. We enjoyed the private pool and backyard spaces . Short 2 block walk to beach. Kitchen very well stocked. Everything was fabulous. Communication was thorough It was our first time using this booking site- my only concern would be some the of “extra fees” that were added on - seemed a bit excessive. Just be aware of that so you arent taken by surprise. But our stay was enjoyable at this beautiful property.

    House is beautiful, well stocked and a short walk to the beach. Plenty of room for 6 . Pool was a favorite for kids. Back screen porch was a great place to sit comfortably and watch the kids in the pool.

    This house was the perfect rental for our family of 4 plus grandparents. The pool in the backyard was a great size for young kids, and the patio surrounding was very large. The inside was well lit, clean, and tidy. We will definitely be back!

    The location of this home was great. It was close enough to the beach to walk, and also far enough away from any loud noises of the main roadway. The house itself was immaculately clean and tidy. Great kitchen and bathrooms. The outdoor porch was lovely, as was the pool and patio space. My family would recommend this home and hope to be back next year.
