This beautiful single family home is located in the tree lined family friendly neighborhood of Crystal Lake located within the gated SANDESTIN GOLF AND BEACH RESORT®. The backyard has been completely redone with a large private pool with a waterfall and lounging sundeck in the pool and new landscaping with palm trees and lighting for an amazing vacation experience.

This home also has a BBQ grill, screened porch with a Smart TV. Also outside you will find a 6 seat golf cart and a 4 seat golf cart so you can cruise the 2400 acre resort in style.

Take the two golf carts to the beach when you're tired of lounging by the private pool. A private tunnel under highway 98 allows golf cart access to the beach and more. When you get back to the house, there is plenty of parking in the circular driveway and extra driveway leading to the garage.

When you are ready for some inside time, the interior of this home is just as amazing as the outside. You will find an open concept living room, dining room and living area; all of which have been completely remodeled and furnished beautifully.

You will find an oversized laundry room if you want to keep things clean while you're on vacation. When it's time to retire for the evening, there is a one bedroom suite on the first floor and the other two guest bedrooms, a bathroom and a master suite on the second floor.

Best honeymoon/vacation

This is our second time staying at this location and won’t be our last. We did last year in Oct and both times of year were PERFECT. Sunny , pool water nice and refreshing for Sept, Oct could use but a little chilly. The ocean this time of year is amazing yet too- beaches not as crowded as well as the restaurants. We cooked a lot at the house while staying here and the kitchen is nice and spacious and backyard is perfect for grilling and chilling! We had everything we would need and the two golf carts we so nice to have to take to the beach or go to the grocery store that’s close and even to the warf on property (which has lots of yummy food/desert options). The beds are super comfy and it’s very cozy and just the perfect place for a family or couples vacation! Golfing was great- we enjoyed playing the links and Baytown courses. Highly recommend this house for your next stay!

Loved our stay at 2040 Crystal Lake Dr. We have stayed multiple times at this home over the past few year and it never disappoints. The home is beautifully decorated, clean and stocked with everything needed to feel right at home. The beds were super comfortable, extra linens, and cable TV in every room. The open floor plan and outside pool area were perfect for spending time together with family.It is apparent to us, the owners take pride to ensure guests stays are enjoyable.The location couldn’t be better- the neighborhood is quiet and relaxing, but still just a golf cart ride away to Baytown wharf, great restaurants, groceries, and of course the beach.We can’t wait to come back! This home made our vacation perfect.

This is our 3rd time staying at this beautiful home. The location is nestled in a quiet neighborhood and only a short golf cart away to shopping, the wharf, and the beach. The private pool is perfect for a late night swim after a day at the beach. The house is decorated beautifully and the beds are super comfy. We can’t wait to go back next year!

This is the 3rd stay at this beautiful home. Our family have vacationed in Florida for 30 years and recently found this gem and will return every chance we get. The location is perfect for our family with shopping, the Wharf, and the beach only a short golf cart drive away. We love the quiet neighborhood and relaxing in the beautiful pool. Once again, we found ourselves back at Crystal Lake! We love this house. The location of this house and the gated community is really nice and our family loves it. The house has everything you need and the extras that you would want. The pool in the backyard put this one over the top because when you need a break from the beach, you have a nice place to hang out. There was plenty of room for all of us and all of the furniture was very comfortable. We thought about a lot of different places to go to for vacation this summer and we all agreed that we wanted to come back to this house together. Every time we come here, we always have a way to relax, reconnect, and enjoy our time.

Fantastic! This was our 2nd rental with MVH and the service was top notch. The property was as described and our crew really enjoyed our stay. The added benefit of the two golf carts and pool put this over the top from most gulf area properties. The community is close to everything, yet away from the busyness of hwy 98, which was ideal. What I think sets MVH apart from other rental companies is their attention to detail, proactive communication, and value added amenities. My Vacation Haven will always be our first choice when looking for gulf rentals.

Vacationed at this home with family. Plenty of room for both adults and children. The pool, screened lanai , large sofa, large dining table and 2 golf carts were definitely our vacation highlights while making memories at Crystal Lake Rental. Will be back next year for sure.

Good but not great. Mattresses could definitely be replaced. Ice maker not working next to washer dryer. There should be more towels and washcloths available. An upgrade on kitchen cookware and dinnerware is needed. Pool and golf carts were wonderful to have. For the cost of this rental I think we could have found something better

Wonderful rental house. We loved the pool and the two golf carts. The amenities in Sandestin are plentiful. We went to Bay Town Wharf several times for evening activities for the kids. The Beach is a short golf cart ride away. Overall, the stay was wonderful!

We got to enjoy this house for a week and we were so happy with it. Pool is perfect! We used it everyday. Plenty of space. Living room was awesome! Outdoor screened porch is great as well! We will definitely be back! Only 4 of us but was perfect! My only comment is please buy a nicer set of cookware. When you spend this much on a rental property you expect nicer quality items. We cooked about half our stay. Otherwise perfect!

Such a fantastic property for a vacation! We have stayed there twice now and plan to do it again. The house is beautiful, clean and stocked for your arrival day. The pool is fantastic and the golf carts a must have. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen is perfect for when you are not out at the wharf. The beach is great and just a short golf cart ride away. There is nothing bad that I can say about this property and I highly recommend!

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at Crystal Lake. The home was exceptionally clean and our starter supply of items lasted the entire week. The golf carts were amazing and the resort is so beautiful. Our only challenge was the heat and air conditioning which can only be changed by the owner using a code. During the month of October, it can be very warm during the day and cool at night so it's important, at least to our family, that we have the ability to modify the temperature of the home. While I can appreciate the desire for cost control, I would have to text the company and then they would have to text the owner. The rental company was amazing and apologetic, but it was frustrating. For this reason, we would not stay in this home again.

Property is great! We had 3 families and had plenty of space for all. Having 2 golf carts was great to get around to all that Sandestin has to offer. Kitchen was great and Ice Maker in laundry room is GREAT addition. All of us said we would come back to Crystal Lake! Pool is not heated which would be good to know for spring, fall and winter months. Also in pictures and house instructions - gas firepit was supposed to be on patio. It was not there when we arrived.The owners were great and the house was overall great for our families vacation!

It's always great. We have met the owners and they are so nice. James even offered to help us get to the airport because we had a late flight. This was the 3rd time we have stayed here. The pool is awesome and the golf carts are great as well. I would recommend this place to anyone.

We had an awesome time!!! The private pool was the great since we have a two year old and the golf carts were an added bonus. They made going back and forth to the beach very convenient and my two year old son loved riding on them. We will definitely try to rent this house again next year. It was perfect for our family. Our stay at Crystal 2040 was absolutely perfect... The house had everything we needed, and was immaculately clean. The pool was awesome, the neighborhood was beautiful and you could get to so many restaurants and shopping centers close by... Either by car or golf cart. Before coming, we had no idea that the neighbor hood had so many amenities. I would recommend advertising a map of the Sandestin Resort (or at least making one available to guests when they do arrive) because I don't think people understand what they are getting access to before they was an extremely pleasant surprise! It was so awesome to have the golf carts available to us and the beach toys and beach chairs. The only issue we experienced was that the washer was having a bit of trouble but that didn't do anything to really deter our experience!

Our stay in Crystal Lake was perfect. We honestly could not come up with a single complaint. The house was clean and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was spacious with nice appliances, pots/pans, dishes, etc. we absolutely loved that it had its own pool, especially since our little ones took afternoon naps. The golf carts were great for getting around! We love that Sandestin feels clean and safe and we went on family walks daily. Thank you for opening your home to us for the week!
