- The house is much larger than it appears in the photos.
- It is very close to the beach, about a 5-minute walk. You do have to cross the busy 30A road, but there are plenty of crosswalks, and cars always stop to let walkers cross.
- The neighborhood is very quiet.
- The pool was hard to find. We found it by accident.
_ A lot of the beach area is blocked off for the private homes. They even had a guard to shoo people away. So everyone is bunched together in small areas because there are so many "private" beach sections.
- The floors were really dirty. We purchased a mop, bucket, and floor cleaner, and after 4 moppings, it was still dirtying our feet and/or socks. (We did not wear shoes in the house)
_ Overall, it is a great house.

Our family of 6 adults and 4 children (ages 5 and under) stated at this location. Overall, we had a great experience in a very well maintained property. Here are the highlights:

-Great location (minutes walking distance from the beach).
-Lots of cooking amenities in the kitchen (measuring cups, baking sheets, appliances, etc.)
-Lots and lots of towels, sheets, wash cloths.
-A very clean property.

However, I need to take away a star from our stay as the listing is slightly inaccurate. The location says it has 3 king beds and 1 queen bed. Actually, it has only 2 king beds and 2 queens. We picked this property due to both the location and 3 king beds for the 3 couples staying at the property. Because of this inaccuracy, we need to lower the rating by 1 star. Please update the listing to reflect 2 king beds and 2 queen beds in the future.

Overall, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to any of our friends and families.

The house was open and clean with a good lay out, large bedrooms and closets. The en suite walk in shower was very nice. The main bedroom bed was way too high for the family member that was supposed to stay there. We had issues getting any cable tv to work which upset some of the family who felt they needed that to wind down at the end of the day, but the Netflix and Disney+ came in handy for the children. Literally only “steps from the beach” and even closer to the pool was nice. Although we couldn’t see any water from our windows, you could see it as soon as you stepped out the back door. There are a few restaurants in the area and several more not too far away although the traffic through the area on 30a can take a while to get through. We enjoyed dinner at FOOW, the Big Chill, Pickles, and McGuires in Destin, Goatfeathers and the pizza at Brozinni was good!

Left a sweater trying to leave earlier for house keeping. I left it on the master bedroom bed. I called immediately as I knew I had forgot 45 out of town. Spoke to a lady that would reach out to me after they cleaned.i am 100 percent sure it was there. I would like it back, if I need to give a reward so no one keeps it I will. This is a wonderful place for a family to gather. We had 12 members and we had space for everyone. The house was clean, pretty well stocked. Only needed a few items in the kitchen like big pans and there were no potholders. We needed extra blankets and they brought them over one evening. Booking and communication was super easy and very efficient. It was a great trip for all.

This is our 2nd year staying at Cassine Dream and I fully intend on booking this property again next year!! It's absolutely perfect for my family.

It's located 10 miles East of Hwy 98 (Stinky's) and 8 miles West of Hwy 98 (Cuvee 30A).

I know the distance because we brought bikes this year. We rode all through Cassine Village (and finally got to play Pickleball on the Cassine courts as we forgot paddles last year). We took advantage of the Timpoochee Trail that runs along the 18.6 mile length of 30A and rode 16-20 miles daily. We rode to Publix, Perfect Pig and Pizza by the Sea several times.

Having stayed the past 20 years along Emerald Coast with stacked W/D every year and only being able to wash 3 towels at a time, having a full size Washer / Dryer in a dedicated large laundry room is so appreciated!!!

There is room for 4 large size cars / pickups plus a 5x8 U-Haul trailer.

My Vacation Haven was our perfect home away from home during Spring Break. The house was spacious, comfortable and a perfect fit for our group of 9. Just steps away from the beach and was located in a nice central location. We did have a few maintenance issues that had a minor impact on our stay (garbage disposal and back door knob needed tightening), but assuming the owners will take care of that for the next visitors. I highly recommend and would definitely return!

For 9 of us, a special girl’s trip, we had plenty of space to have a restful night’s sleep, and such a wide open space, large open kitchen to mingle in. It was perfect and we loved it. Plus, the beach access is such a short walk from the house. We could walk to the Donut Hut, grab a pizza, and even Mexican. Terrific location. It’s definitely going to be at the top of the list for future trips!

Cassine Dream is our new go to Beach Get Away!

We had a great time at Cassine Dream and hope to return next year! It was so good, we extended our stay by 2 more nights.
The open family room / kitchen allowed us all to hang out in the same area to watch movies, play board games, bake cookies... The kitchen is well equipped.
The beds are all very comfortable. 3 rooms on main floor -- 2 upstairs.
The full size washer / dryer were awesome!!! We were able to do 1/2 the # of loads compared to the tiny stacked W/D in our previous Destin rentals.

It's an easy walk to the beach from Cassine but probably not something you'd want to do with a full cooler.
There are 4 full size parking spots (Suburbans and Full Size Pickup fit just fine). Being able to park within 20 foot of the door is an VERY underrated feature.
We had a pickup so we loaded up all our beach gear in the bed, drove across the street to the turn-around which is directly at the beach stairs (18 stairs and 1 landing) and walked it down to the beach. We thought about renting a golf cart but the pickup was better choice.
The beach flags are NOT updated very often (unlike Sandestin). Flags stayed double red from the previous day until almost noon when they switched to yellow. It was like this all week. There are no lifeguard tower anywhere but there was a beach crew renting chairs / umbrellas.

We ate nearby at:
* Brozinni Pizzeria (200 ft away) -- it was only okay (undercooked, soggy crust but lots of flavor).
* Donut Hut (300 ft) twice. VERY expensive for average donuts. We quickly learned that Black Bear Bakery (4.4 miles) is a no-brainer.
* Multiple times at the Perfect Pig (1000 ft) for breakfast and lunch -- extremely good.
* 30A Cafe (1000 ft opposite direction) for dinner -- extremely good.
There is a Publix 1.5 miles away which is so convenient.
The swing in the picture wasn't there but otherwise what you see in the pictures is what you get!

Our family vacation was as relaxing as we had hoped thanks to Cassine Dream. The home is fresh and airy and is set up perfectly for multiple families to have space and privacy. We spent a good amount of time cooking breakfast or fresh seafood from Goatfeathers (a 5 minute walk) and had all the comforts of home in the kitchen. The open floor plan of the kitchen into the living room made it so fun for us all to hang out together. Proximity to the beach and the pool could not have been better. If we needed to run back for snacks or forgot to bring out the football, we could run back to the house very easily. Don’t tell your friends…that leaves more time available for our family!

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is very spacious and open, particularly the living room, dining room, and kitchen areas. It more than comfortably fit 2 families, each with multiple kids, and our nanny - with plenty of room to spare. It was nice to have our own house, as opposed to being crammed in a huge high rise condo. The tennis courts and pool were great; we went to and used them both multiple times. It is also just a very quick walk to the beach and conveniently located near multiple good and fun restaurants, a seafood market, an ice cream shop, etc. We will definitely be going back!

Our family had an amazing vacation in Sea Grove. The house is beautiful with new updates throughout and a comfortable open floor plan on the main level. We loved the decor and furniture and the beds were very comfortable. We also really enjoyed the convenience of the location. It’s a short 3 minute walk to the beach and close to many cute shops and restaurants. It was fun walking to grab donuts in the morning and then pizza at night. This is truly a special place!
