Nestled within the exclusive gated confines of SANDESTIN GOLF AND BEACH RESORT®, situated in the charming Laurel Grove community, this home offers a haven for relaxation. The inviting front porch beckons you inside, where the open concept living space welcomes you with its vaulted ceilings and an abundance of windows, bathing the whole room in natural light. With every step, a sense of ease and tranquility envelops you. And, yes, you can bring your furry friend along as this rental is pet friendly!

The first floor of this remarkable home boasts the kitchen, dining, and living areas, along with the master suite and a guest bedroom. Step from the living area or the master suite onto the back porch, where you can unwind and watch golfers navigate the course. The master bedroom offers a king bed, a large soaker tub, and a separate stand-up shower in the ensuite bathroom. Likewise, the guest bedroom on this floor also features a king bed and a full bathroom.

Venture upstairs to discover the delightful bunk room, equipped with games for the youngsters in the group! There is a twin/twin bunk bed, accompanied by two additional twin beds, each with a pullout twin trundle bed. This upstairs space also boasts an ensuite bathroom with a tub/shower combination. To add to your comfort, all bedroom TVs have been recently upgraded to provide full streaming options.

This home includes two golf carts a 4-seater and a 6-seater=—to make exploring the resort easier. Cruise over to the private resort beach, community pool and fitness center, or head to Grand Boulevard or the Village of Baytowne Wharf for some retail therapy!

    We absolutely felt this was the BEST rental! We always book Sandestin on the beach, but this year we decided to book on the golf course. This home was so inviting, clean, comfortable, and close to shopping, golf, pool, restaurants and best of all 2 golf carts! We rarely got in our car! From the very comfortable living room sectional, to the very comfortable sectional on the back porch and side lawn-multiple naps were had. We enjoyed golfing, meals out, the beach, the golf cart rides, running, the pool, and just relaxing! We only left the resort twice! Best Sandestin stay ever is in the books!

    My family has been going to Destin for over 30 years for Thanksgiving. My wife and I personally have been going for most if November over the last 5 or so years. We have stayed in nearly every area of Sandestin. Laurel Grove is our favorite. This unit 1285 is the best we have stayed in. We'll equipped. Good view. Best floor plan

    This house was everything that we wanted. We vacation in the Laurel Grove area twice a year. We would definitely rent this house again. It was clean and looks good. The golf carts ran well, which is a must for us when we are staying in Sandestin.

    Nice house, plenty of room. The golf carts worked well. We love the location. It is quiet and just a golf cart ride away from anything that you might want to do. We played pickleball, fished the ponds, went to the beach shopped and ate. The pool is nice. We come to Sandestin at least 2x a year and always stay in Laurel Grove. I would pick this house again.

    This was the absolute best vacation stay in Baytowne! I’ve been to Baytowne numerous times and this was by far my favorite house I’ve stayed in. The layout is perfect for families with kids. The golf carts were amazing- one is brand new and very nice and the other is a perfect classic golf cart. Cul de sac location is quiet and peaceful. Would stay here every time!

    We had the best long weekend at Seabatical! Beautifully decorated home that comfortably accommodated two families with 4 toddlers! The house is located just down the street from community pool which was wonderful for our family. Beach was just a short golf cart ride along the golf cart path. Bonus was there are TWO golf carts which was so great to accommodate our two families! It was perfect for our getaway with toddlers! We will definitely be back!

    We had an amazing vacation. The house is spacious, beautifully decorated and is stocked with everything needed. Relaxing on the back patio after a round of golf or day at the beach was great. 6 Seat golf cart (obviously brand new) and the 4 seater golf cart made getting around the resort very easy for our crew...only a short drive to The Wharf or the beach. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip!

    We have stayed in Sandestin more than 50 times over two decades, on all four corners of the resort. This unit ranks in the top 3 of the homes we have stayed in for several reasons. 1) Huge open family room 2) Rear porch with amazing view of the golf course and shaded by an oak tree. 2) Not one but two golf carts 3) Two bedrooms and bathrooms on main level 4) Very convenient to Publix and Grand Blvd. via the "secret" golf cart entrance 5) Easy ride to the beach and to Baytowne Wharf. 6) We could see the golf course pro shop from the rear porch, my son just walked over there to play golf. 7) The pool and gym were clean and well equipped, we enjoyed those as well.

    Great house but needs new golf carts

    The house was beautiful and very comfortable. Everything was great, except for the golf carts. The four seater was fine, although a little dated. The six seater was not at the property for almost half of our stay due to “repairs.” When it did arrive, it was very old and really needs to be updated. It was embarrassing to drive around the community. I would expect a newer model, given the cost of the rental. All of the houses in the community had newer and more updated carts. We would definitely consider renting this house again IF they update the six seater golf cart. If not, we will probably look for another option, which is unfortunate because we really loved the house! We use the golf cart to get around everywhere in the community and that is a huge part of the rental for us! The reason that we started staying in this resort is because we love the different options that are accessible by golf cart. It is so convenient to take the cart to the beach, village, and marina in the community. We hope that the owners will consider updating the six seater cart to a newer model. This would make the house an excellent rental!

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at “Seabattical”. The unit was as advertised. It was a great place for Thanksgiving Dinner with our sons and their families. The Keurig was not working and was quickly replaced by the maintenance staff. We would definitely stay here again.
