We loved our stay at Westwinds- Great location, Condo was super clean and spacious, and the view was Amazing. Both rooms have super comfortable King beds, which was great. Parking was never an issue. Your steps to the beach and we loved that there was a pool bar for food and drinks- along with service at the beach, if you rented chairs. We would definitely stay there again.

The condo was lovely and the best part was the amazing sunset view from the balcony. I would recommend adding a K cup coffeemaker to the unit. Beds were very comfortable and loved the fact that the tv in the master bedroom was a nice size so that you could enjoy watching tv in there.

It was perfect, two adults and two teenagers. We had a fantastic view of the Gulf, easy access to the beach, fun in the pool and loved the tram to the Wharf. Great location and we hope to be back!

This condo had everything we needed! It was in a beautiful property with a private beach and very nice swimming pools. I liked that it was a little down the road from Destin so the traffic wasn’t too bad. The unit was great and had everything we needed- even an ice machine on the premises and carts to take up your luggage! Would definitely stay here again!!

We had a wonderful vacation! The unit is beautiful, clean, updated, tastefully decorated , spacious and most of all a beautiful view of the beach! The rooms have views too. The linens are soft, the bed and pillows are comfortable, the kitchen has everything we need. I also love the hassle free check-in and check out process, everything was a breeze. I will definitely book this unit again and with Vacation Haven again! I already sent the details to a friend!

Westwinds is a very nice condo. Unit was very clean and was very easy to access beach and pool .
The one and only complaint is the very poor beach service. Basically was gouged by Jacob for a front row umbrella set. He boldly told everyone that it would take a $100 tip to get on the front!! All my years going to Destin, I have never experienced anything like that before.

We had a very nice trip to Destin at the very end of October. The weather was rainy for a couple days and cool for a few days, but we still had a great time. The condo was very nice, had everything that we needed. Our only complaint was that the bed in the master bedroom was very uncomfortable. We called the rental company and they did send a very nice gentleman out to look at it. He fixed some slats on the bed, after which it was some better. However, we think the mattress is just shot. Other than that, it was a great trip!

This was our third time to stay at the Westwinds in the past two years. We have two children, and the condo has a great layout for our family. We love the view, the cleanliness of the unit, and the fabulous pool and hot tub. This unit also has great beach chairs, and a nice full-size washer and dryer. The only downside is the master bedroom mattress. It is SO lumpy and lopsided, and my back hurt after sleeping on it. If the owners could replace that mattress, everything would be perfect in the unit. We still had a wonderful time, though!

The complex is very nice and the unit itself was nicely updated. The grounds are beautiful and it is an easy walk down to the beach. We only stayed three nights, so it was a quick trip, but I did notice that the ice maker in the refrigerator was not working. Thankfully I had ice packs that I could refreeze for my beach cooler. Had we been staying longer, this would have caused a problem. The beach is beautiful as they all are in the Destin area; however, it is rather dense. I believe the Beach Club area umbrellas were 8 rows deep and our complex's umbrellas were 3 rows deep and very close together with your neighbor. My personal preference is a much less dense beach. We stayed here because we had other friends staying in the complex. Since my husband and I do prefer a quieter beach area, we will likely stick to smaller complexes in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Westwinds 4795 and didn’t want to leave at the end of our vacation. The view is stunning, the condo is freshly updated and decorated, and the beach simply can NOT be beat! The condo provides everything you could need, but we also had no issues renting the nice beach loungers and umbrellas for the week for a really reasonable price. We still used the condo’s beach chairs to sit closer to the water, but I love the convenience of having the umbrella and chair service all set up and just waiting for me (and the nice waitress that will bring food and drinks right to you)! The kitchen and bathrooms were wonderful and we slept great. The rooms are not huge - but it’s comfortable for the little time that we actually spent inside. The elevators were quick, the walk out to the pool and beach were easy, and everyone was kind. My husband played golf all week - loved it! My husband and son went on a deep sea fishing trip and definitely want to go again. The water was pure, clear, beautiful, and warm. I kept wondering how it was so clean - like ZERO seaweed and ocean “stuff.” The sand was soft, white and also clean (no trash around here!). Also, for the fact that we were vacationing during “peak season,” our beach was not crowded. It definitely was in other areas near us (we had friends staying up 30A and visited their beach), but at Westwinds - it was NICE. Just about 2 miles to the left up the beach are the coastal dune lakes and are worth the walk to see! We contacted My Vacation Haven briefly upon arrival because we couldn’t find the top to the blender and they were So Quick to bring an entirely new blender to the condo! When we weren’t on the beach, we were on the balcony enjoying the view. If you appreciate a space with nice (not cheesy) decor and beautiful views and easy beach access - this is it. We’ll be back!

Overall our stay was great! The ocean view was beautiful from this unit.
The balcony was sunny from about 11AM to 6PM. Sunset view was gorgeous, however! Mattresses were not new as they had "people trenches" and were most uncomfortable! Loved the property, but won't stay in this unit next time.

We loved our stay at the Westwinds. The unit was perfectly clean and in great condition. It does have a washer and dryer, which I wasn't sure about until we arrived. The pool area was one of the nicest I've seen with a hot tub and separate baby pool area. Overall an excellent experience, and we would definitely go back!
