Dolphin House, named for the large Art Deco dolphin hanging on the stairwell wall, puts you right in the middle of all the sunny and shady fun that is Sandestin. A stay here is guaranteed to improve your “vacationing” self. Dolphin House is located in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by lakes, trees and green space. Here, you have the option of JUST DOING NOTHING and we have the comfortable sofas, chairs and loungers to facilitate that.

We love big extended families, golf groups, tennis teams and church groups and provide TWO GOLF CARTS to take your crew wherever they’re headed. While there is space for two cars behind the golf carts in our driveway, an off-site parking lot is a short walk away. What do you need a car for anyway? Look at a map and you’ll see everything is a golf cart ride away, including the BEACH, Publix, restaurants, shops, entertainment and kiddie fun in Baytowne Village, and, well, you get the picture.

There’s a community pool just down the way. If you come in hot weather, we also have a great big, HEATED POOL just around the block. It’s soooo cathartic!

Need your space? We’ve got that with four comfortable bedrooms (one is a five-sleeper bunkroom), EACH WITH ITS OWN EN SUITE BATH.

Dolphin House sits on the fairway midway between the tee box and green at Hole #2 of the Baytowne Golf Course, one of three public courses here. The OVERSIZED PORCH faces east, meaning during the heat of the day, you can sit in the shade under the fans and read or watch live golf. Villa Lago’s design and the broad expanse of the course makes it feel like you’re the only group around.

The SPACIOUS GOURMET KITCHEN is a cook’s dream and comes with everything you’d expect, plus an EXTRA ICE MAKER for coolers and frozen drinks.

    I found it very odd that someone's riding around at midnight taking photographs so they can collect $100 from someone who left their trash out overnight. We also called and asked for the location of the nearest fitness center and we were told we needed to ask Sandestin. Have no idea what that means but we found out later there are fitness centers all over the grounds at Baytown Wharf. Lots of roaches inside and out. But overall it was a nice stay.

    What a wonderful stay at this beautiful home on the golf course! Community was gorgeous, beach is close and the community town square was so fun to hang out in.

    This quiet neighborhood was perfect for our family to get away from the hustle and bustle and just hang out.

    Would recommend this home to anyone looking for a getaway and still have fun doing the beach thing.

    This rental property provided all the things we needed. An extra added bonus was the ice maker in the kitchen, that amenity was a life saver. Very spacious, and fully stocked. We truly needed to bring nothing but food to cook. We had a blast and would highly recommend this property.

    Can’t say enough good things about this home. It was our fourth visit to Sandestin and we’ve stayed in four different places. This was my favorite. We loved having our coffee on the quiet, private patio watching the early morning golfers. We even named the grey squirrels that were busy doing there morning routine. So peaceful. The bedroom/bathroom setup is perfect, living space was very accommodating and the kitchen is so big and easy for multiple people to cook together! The only thing I would recommend is replacing the skillets and adding a couple cookie sheets to the well stocked kitchen. The golf carts add a whole new layer to the vacation experience and we won’t rent another home in Sandestin without them! Hoping to rent this until again next time!

    Super nice place. The two golf carts were a hit. I would love to rent again.

    Just one minor thing: The Grill needs to be replaced but WOW what a place to stay.

    We had an amazing house that met our needs perfectly! It had plenty of room, looked gorgeous, was super close to the beach, and had tons of shops within walking/carting/tram distance. We were all very pleased and will definitely be back again, likely in the same house.

    Had a great time at this home. I've stayed in this unit three separate occasions. The golf carts are great for getting around the resort property - leave your car behind. Also, they have a lot of beach items in the storage closet so you don't have to even bring a lot of your own beach gear.

    Fantastic 4 bedroom house in Baytowne. The house was the perfect fit for our 3 families. Each couple had a bedroom with a king bed and all the children fit comfortably in the bunk room. The house is properly equipped with towels, kitchen necessities, and even had some extras like shampoo/soap in every bathroom. The two golf carts were great for cruising to Publix or to the beach. This is one we will definitely rent again!

    We shared the house with another family. There was plenty of room for all. Very comfortable and attractive inside. We loved having the golf carts for traveling around the property. Would stay here again!

    This villa was just what our family needed - large living space with open floor plan. Very conveniently located with nice porch on the golf course. The two golf carts were invaluable for a short ride to the beach and/or to Baytowne. We really enjoyed it!

    This property was wonderful! The bedrooms were large and the beds were comfortable. The house sleeps 12 and we had 11 with us - everyone got a bed. It was clean and well taken care of. Lots of beach and pool toys were provided and the golf carts were so convenient! Definitely would stay here again.

    This property was amazing. The house is huge and had plenty of room for our group of friends that traveled in for the long weekend. The best part was the 2 golf carts that came with the property. The location allows for everything (grocery store, dining, entertainment, marina, pool, beach, etc.) to be easily accessed via golf cart. I highly recommend My Vacation Haven for rentals and will definitely rent through them again.

    Loved this rental ! The den is very comfortable. The back yard is a nice area to hang out late afternoon. Loved having Two golf carts allowing our family to go places at different times or different places at the same time.

    We loved Villa Lago 1892. My husband and I took our three children. His sister, her husband and their 2 children joined us, along with his parents. Total of 6 adults and 5 kids. There was plenty of room for all of us! Kids loved the bunk room. The place is very nice and was very clean. Lots of shelving and space. The golf carts are fantastic and made it possible for us to not use our cars at all on the trip other than the short drive to Publix upon arrival. The beach seems far from the house but with the carts we could just load up and have a quick fun ride to the beach. Golf cart parking at the beach was never a problem. The neighborhood pool is very nice but it is not heated which surprised us. Temperatures were in the mid 70s and the kids had chattering teeth in the pool. Bay Towne was very fun with a nightly free activity for the kids Sun-Thurs. Overall we had a great stay!
