On the Beachside of the resort, Luau is Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort's newest accommodation. Each condominium is elegantly appointed with modern furnishings in tropical flair. Just a stroll away from the white sand beaches and emerald green waters of the Gulf of Mexico, this retreat is a great spot for a relaxing beachside vacation.

About the Community of Luau
Just steps away from the beach is your Destin vacation destination, the Luau condominium. At the ground level, this property is home to plush landscaping which leads to the lagoon-style pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, swim-under waterfall, a Tiki and snack bar (open seasonally), and community grilling area. The pool deck area offers views of the Gulf of Mexico and its famous sugar-white sand beaches. At the Luau condominium towers, you’ll enjoy additional amenities like gated and partially covered parking, high speed WiFi, a large fitness center overlooking the pool, community laundry facilities, and a spacious lobby area. The accommodations have studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units with full-size kitchen appliances (with the exception of studios) and open floor plans. The majority of the condos in the Luau towers provide panoramic views ranging from the Choctawhatchee Bay to the Gulf of Mexico to the Tops’l Preserve.     It was good. This unit is listed in as with kitchen. We were expecting it to be a studio with kitchen.
    Instructions for parking lot code were not clear. Got confused on arrival.

    We staying at the Luau over Labor Day weekend 2022 and it was a great experience for the two of us. Room was a great size and the bathroom was nice and spacious. No problems with the facilities or the elevators which is always nice. Friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

    The stay was very nice. Room was clean, great view and staff was friendly. Wifi was a little spotty and it would have been nice to check in earlier but other than that no complaints.

    I have been going to the Destin area for the past 20 years. My boyfriend and I have been craving a getaway for months. This was the perfect place! The resort itself was gorgeous. There were a lot of people staying in Sandestin. It might have something to do with coming out of a pandemic and being on spring break, but the beach was very busy. We would go down every morning and set up our spot for the day to ensure we would have somewhere to sit. I would definitely recommend this unit if you are just looking for a place for a few bodies.

    We loved our stay in the Sanderson area with My Vacation Haven.
    When we got there our original room was not up to par and Leslie immediately fixed the problem and moved us to a new room. Being so close to the beach was amazing, we hardly left it.
    The only thing I would say needs looked into would be putting a coin dispenser near the laundry room but that wasn’t even that big a deal ����‍♀️

    Great getaway for the weekend. Clean room, ice cold A/C, easy access to beach and pool, good food and entertainment close by. Easy parking and entry to the condo. Would totally recommend!

    The room was just as expected with a great partial view of the gulf and sunrise. Room was clean. The observatory deck on the top of the building is a must to check out. Storage unit provided 2 chairs an umbrella and a few toys. There were several places to.lock up bikes if you bring them. The pool was wonderful. Hot tub was not accessible due to COVID-19.Tram service was great. Baytown Warf is a must. It's just a mile and a half away. We took the team there and back. Checkin is no earlier tan 4, so dont plan to check in early. The door does not activate with the code until 4. Parking garage spots are tight. We brought our small sailboat and made arrangements through the property to store it in a storage area 1 mile away. It was safe with a locked gate. The unit was spacious for a studio. The bed was so comfortable. We used the barbecue pit which was very nice since our studio units do not come with a stove/oven.The beach was a short walk across the street and it was beautiful. This was a great vacation we had before my son reports to basic training for Army National Guard. We are ready to go back and will definately stay at Luau again.

    Easy process from the start and then friendly staff there to help once you arrive. Our room was very clean with a great view of the beach. Due to COVID-19 they had to shut down the pool but we were glad they were watching out for our safety! We had an awesome time.

    This suite was clean and very close to the beach, restaurants, and shops. With the shuttle and central location, there was very little reason to go beyond a one to two mile radius. A perfect relaxing vacation. My Vacation Haven made everything easy. I definitely plan to return and book with MVH!

    This condo was perfect for our small family of 3. We had enough space to setup a pack and play, create a small play area for our 1 year old and although the space is small, we did not feel crowded. It is conveniently located next to the elevator and I never heard any noises from the hallway or outside. The pool was nice and the Luau is a short walk to the beach. A beach cart is recommended to carry all the necessities. We appreciated having the beach accessories that the unit came with, beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys. This unit is perfect for a couple or small family like ours.

    We enjoyed are stay in this studio and since we didn't want to be in our room for long periods of time, it was perfect for what we needed (a comfortable bed to sleep). Our 4 year old enjoyed the amazing pool and the availabilty of adult drinks nearby with music was AWESOME. If you have a small child, we would highly recommend this rental.

    The only negative is that this place needs an additional elevator or two that are a little faster.

    Stayed here with my husband and toddler. Room was exactly as pictured. Everything was clean, plenty of linens, extra pillows and sheets. The kitchenette had glassware, plates, bowls, mugs, and silverware. The resort was gorgeous! Beach was perfectly beautiful. The Beachhouse restaurant was convenient when we didn't feel like going far for a meal. Directions to resort and gate code/room code was a breeze. I downloaded the App which was great!

    Overall we had a great time. Nice place to stay. Only bad thing is there is to many high rises there in one spot causing the beach to be very very over crowded.

    The room was great and very clean. I loved the property and the view from the 16th floor. Can't wait to go back!

    The studio apartment was nice. I didn't like that our building didn't have an ice machine so we had to go to the building next door. Nobody ever answered the phone at the front desk either.
