When inside, the open floor plan flows easily from living, to dining and into the kitchen so you can enjoy the Gulf views from just about anywhere in the condo – even the Master bedroom. The kitchen has been updated with a clean and crisp coastal feel of natural stone countertops and stainless steel appliances. There’s plenty of space to prepare a large family meal for a night in – or arrange a quick lunch at the breakfast bar before you hit the beach.

The beach – the reason why you’re here! It’s fulfilling to take it all in from the balcony, but now it’s time to get those toes into the sugar-white sand. From the elevator, stroll through the lagoon-like pool area and right to the beach access. As you walk through the pool area, you can grab a refreshment from the Tiki Bar (open seasonally). At the beach find your perfect spot and sit right down to a day filled with exploring, relaxing and wave-watching.

When the day is done, the condo’s comfortable arrangements will offer a restful night. Each bedroom has a king bed and the master bedroom offers an en suite bathroom with dual vanity for added privacy and convenience. Each room has a TV perfect for winding down.

    We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in WestWinds 4849. The view from the top floor was beautiful with glorious sunset-watching from the balcony on clear nights. Posdibly the best sunset location of anywhere in Sandestin from this balcony, as the sun sets right over the ocean.

    Unit was well appointed with comfortable beds, roomy bathrooms, and the BEST equipped kitchen of any condo we’ve ever rented anywhere.

    Unit was clean when we arrived & all minor repairs/issues were addressed promptly, courteously, & efficiently.

    Pool area was lovely & being heated was a plus for variable Nov. weather. Hot tub always a bonus. Beach was clean & there was very little litter.

    Exercise room was adequate & clean. If you could add a scale that would be helpful.
    Having the rolling luggage carts was really nice.

    Our family had a great stay at the condo. We loved how convenient it was to local restaurants and shops. We also liked the ocean view and could be at the pool/beach in a minute. Great place and would visit again.

    Resort-style vacation in the Gulf!! We will return to Westwinds within the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. The entire complex is extremely clean and the people were very nice. The pool area is vast with various seating areas. The Tiki Bar was great for a quick snack, ice cream, or even a delicious frozen cocktail. Thank you MyVacationHaven for making our 21st Anniversary perfection!!

    My wife and I visit the Destin/Sandestin area 3-4 times a year and have stayed many places. This unit was up there with some of the best. The hosts were very good at communicating, and keeping me updated. The unit was very much as it was depicted in the listing. Check in and check out was a breeze. The view was amazing.

    This condo is all about the view. Facing southwest, the balcony has wonderful views of the beach and great sunsets. The condo was very comfortable and had everything we needed, but could use an update on living area furniture and bathroom showers need updating. The amenities were wonderful. We loved the swimming pool and beach area. It was an added plus to have a tiki bar by the pool. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

    We loved this two bedroom condo right on the beach! It is very conveniently located - a little far from some of the Destin restaurants with the road construction, but there are a lot of options close by. The beds and pillows were very comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked. They even had plenty of beach chairs, toys and boogie boards. The balcony was nice and had a great view. We didn't have any problem with noise from the elevator, the only issue we noticed was that it was extremely hot coming off the elevator and in the hallways. The rental company was good about answering all of our questions except for this one. We enjoyed the condo, and would stay here again!

    Our stay was wonderful and filled with lots of family memories. We hope to be back next year! The condo was very well appointed and very clean. The view from the balcony is spectacular! I think the bathroom in the guest room could use some updating and the toilet handle needs some fixing (you have to hold it down and then pull it up, manually, each time). We were also a little disappointed to find that the TVs were not internet-ready and we couldn't stream movies. The condo could also benefit from some hooks in the bathrooms for towels, bathing suits, etc. We found ourselves hanging wet things in creative places to get them dry. A few hooks would have this resolved. Otherwise, this was the perfect beach vacation and we certainly plan to book again!

    This our family's first time to Destin. We are VERY pleased with the Westwinds location and property. Very Clean and the beach location is perfect - not as crowded directly east on beach. The water is beautiful. Pool is nice and a good size. Plenty of chairs for all. VERY HAPPY with our pick for this location, exp with never being here before. We will be back - already talking about our plans to return next year .

    We had a great week staying at Westwinds in the Sandestin resort! The condo was clean and the perfect size for our family of 4. If I could change one thing I would update the bathrooms, they were clean but definitely dated. We loved our view from the top floor. We had a minor issue with the toilet running, but the My Vacation Haven team came out very quickly to fix it. Check in and check out were a breeze, and we loved having a code to unlock the door instead of having to keep up with a room key. Also the Westwinds area at Sandestin is much less crowded than the Beach down by Beachside 1 & 2. We will definitely be back!

    Beautiful location and view. Showers/ bathrooms/carpets need to be updated. Netflix would be nice, as TV offerings are limited.

    Our stay was truly amazing! This 2 bedroom condo is on the top 21st floor with a spectacular view of the beach. We sat outside on the porch each morning with our coffees and enjoyed the breeze, view and even Dolphins our last morning. The weather was gorgeous all week and we ate at “gulf to table” restaurants each night. Our favorite was Harbor Docks, even got T-shirt’s after. I recommend this condo to families and people who want a great view and a comfortable stay.
    P.S. we have little white noise machines that help us sleep so we NEVER heard the elevators at night as stated in another review.

    We stayed with our daughter, son-in-law, and two grandchildren (ages 4 and 10 months) in Westwinds Unit 4849 (2 BR/2.5 BA). The unit was clean and ready at the scheduled check-in time. It was good to have owner-supplied beach chairs, beach toys, and umbrella for our use. Only minor hiccup was the number of pool/beach wrist bands available when we checked in (1) did not match the number of rental occupants (6). Facility maintenance man quickly got us 5 more bands.

    Perfect spot for a relaxing vacation! Quiet spot in a great location to local attractions. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was a problem with the air conditioning, and customer service came within 30 min and in the evening! Excellent service from this group!

    The 5 days we spent at Westwinds 4849 was the culmination of a week that included my wife's graduation from Grad School at Kennesaw State University, Judy's birthday, and Mother's Day...thus Judy Fest. We watched the sunset from the balcony each evening we were at Westwinds which was the perfect ending to each
    day. The condo gave us plenty of room and the furnishings were beautiful. The beach and the Gulf of Mexico were awesome and relaxing. We had breakfast and lunch in the condo each day and ate out for dinner.
