Westwinds Sandestin is unbeatable. Located steps away from the ocean - you can be at the beach in 2-3 minutes from your unit/condo! My family also loves the private pool, hot tub and poolside restaurant. 2023 was our second year in a row to come for Fall Break and we plan on coming back every year. Westwinds Sandestin is the absolute best!

This was truly a wonderful home away from home. The views were amazing and the balcony was a real extension of the condo. The only thing that I would suggest is that some of the balcony furniture was regular height. As a person with back issues it was difficult to use the high top barstools and tables. We are already planning our next stay in the fall and will make sure we come when this condo is available.

We enjoyed our week long vacation in this extra spacious 3 bedroom! The kitchen window has great views after cooking a scrumptious dinner in the fully stocked kitchen. After reading reviews--we also brought our Keurig. The kitchen had plenty of dishes for our full house. We enjoyed the wrap around porch and the high bar top table and chairs. Plenty of space to gather or have smaller groups--which our two young adults liked having their "own" space. The kitchen table and buffet--made for a great space to play games and gather for meals. The coffee table was perfect for our puzzle! There is a cute wine storage unit in the hall that held our wine--we had lots of storage!! The closet for beach stuff was packed. The one kid we had enjoyed the buckets, shovels, fishing net and tiny chair for the beach. We brought our own chairs and umbrellas--but it did have chairs in the closet. We enjoyed the master bedroom views and this particular floor plan was a favorite because it didn't have twin beds. There were so many platters and trays which made for good food spreads and places to put snacks out for the hungry beach goers we tend to be after an active day. Pantry was giant and again was great for all the food we brought. We would recommend this unit to a family traveling with several adults or older kids. The art work was unique and gave a great vibe. We are "pros" at staying at this particular building. We travel with all the essentials--but it had tons of salt/pepper leftovers. I always bring an extra kitchen towel because with 8 people--you are going to have to wash or have an extra on hand.

This location is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a rental home. The unit is much larger than any of the other 3 bedrooms we’ve stayed in and the wrap around porch provides exquisite views of the bay and the ocean. The beds were extremely comfortable and the living room furniture provided ample sitting space for the family.

Really liked the condo. Beautiful view from large balcony, condo very well laid out. Definitely recommend. Only minor issue is kitchen is not as we normally find, so be certain to bring extra. Overall, very positive experience.

The condo was absolutely fabulous and the amenities accompanying it were equally great. We rode out Hurricane Michael only because we knew were safe structurally and were so lucky and glad we did because the days that followed were beautiful. The owners' daughter's artwork was very appropriate for the décor and we loved it. Will definitely try to book this unit again.

This penthouse can easily accommodate your group of 8 and you never feel like you're on top of each other. The bedrooms are large, with large closets. The balconies are amazing - there are multiple. Plenty of bathrooms. The only suggestion I would make is to add to the kitchen/cooking supplies. The largest skillet only held 4 slices of bacon. And a Keurig would be a nice addition. We also would've liked a crock pot and griddle. When cooking for a group of 8 that this unit can accommodate, larger size cooking/baking pieces would make sense. We would definitely stay here again. Layout and view can't be beat for a group.

We come to Sandestin each year to celebrate our September 14 wedding anniversary. We realized this is Hurricane season for Florida but have only had 2 instances of hurricanes in the 27 years we have been coming to the Florida panhandle. For many years we have been using My Vacation Haven to stay in the Westwinds property. Hurricane Irma and the tropical depression through Birmingham, AL disrupted our roadtrip from Chicago, IL. Despite the 3 day delay we had on the front end of our trip waiting out the hurricane in Birmingham AL, Amanda, Maria and Leslie of My Vacation Haven hung in there with us and made sure our vacation was fulfilled. They were very understanding and accommodating in replacing the lost days on the front of the trip and adding them on the back end of our trip. They made us feel very special. We will use My Vacation Haven in the future and of course we will stay in the beautiful Westwinds property of Sandestin Resort. The Penthouse we had was amazing. This was our third visit in this unit. It's a dream come true with the views from each and every room. Thank you again My Vacation Haven, Amanda, Maria and Leslie. We love you guys. The Westwards is one of the best Beachfront properties in SanDestin. Loved our condo - Westwards 4824. Everything was clean and nice, and the views were amazing. Can't wait to return next year!
