About the Community of Luau
Just steps away from the beach is your Destin vacation destination, the Luau condominium. At the ground level, this property is home to plush landscaping which leads to the lagoon-style pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, swim-under waterfall, a Tiki and snack bar (open seasonally), and community grilling area. The pool deck area offers views of the Gulf of Mexico and its famous sugar-white sand beaches. At the Luau condominium towers, you’ll enjoy additional amenities like gated and partially covered parking, high speed WiFi, a large fitness center overlooking the pool, community laundry facilities, and a spacious lobby area. The accommodations have studio, 1-, 2- and 3-bedroom units with full-size kitchen appliances (with the exception of studios) and open floor plans. The majority of the condos in the Luau towers provide panoramic views ranging from the Choctawhatchee Bay to the Gulf of Mexico to the Tops’l Preserve.     The rental worked out perfectly for our relaxing anniversary getaway. It was a nice sized unit for the two of us set up in a beautiful, gated resort. This was my first trip to the Luau complex and will be recommending it to friends/family going forward.

    Just as pictured, gorgeous view, sat outside every night. Son slept on pull out, said was comfortable with no bar in his back and still had Roman to walk around bed. Beach a short walk and right next to Hilton so I could walk to meeting. Would definitely book again!

    Myself and 4 friends recently stayed here for a girls trip. It was perfect, the condo was just enough room, the bed was comfortable and the view was phenomenal. Even the hot water was plentiful with 5 of us showering back to back. It’s about a 5-7 minute walk to the beach. The pool was really beautiful. I’d suggest some type of mattress topper for the pull out couch and chair as we did utilize both of these, definitely not a deal breaker and we would stay here again. I have booked several times through my vacation haven and they have exceeded my expectations every time. This is one of those places that you walk in and the room and resort look just like the pictures:)

    Great condo! Clean and comfortable for our Mom and daughter beach trip! Short walk to the beach, beautiful pool area and grounds. Very convenient to ride the tram over to Baytown Wharf for restaurants, shops and entertainment. Enjoyed having beach chairs and umbrella for our use. Our air conditioner was not cooling properly, but it was repaired quickly while we were at the beach-no problem! Would definitely stay here again.

    The condo was lovely, clean and cozy. We spent two weeks enjoying the beach, pool, and local restaurants. Conveniently located to make excursions to Seaside, Apalachicola and Tallahassee.

    My wife and I stayed in this condo for two weeks and the pictures on the site are exactly what you will see. The view from our condo is just incredible. The unit is very clean and well maintained. The bed is really comfortable and all the facilities were just what we needed. The service from My Vacation Heaven was just right. The beach is so close just a small walk to it. The beach with its white sand is a rarity as there were no issues and it was well maintained. The pool is a very fair size. All in all, it was a great stay and yes we would come back. The Sandestin golf and beach resort is safe and gated. We had no concerns walking around the property.

    Everything you need for a great stay. Kitchen with stove refrigerator dishwasher pots coffee pot plates glasses. Comfortable bed nice living room with tv in both. Washer and dryer. Nice balcony with table and chairs. We just went in May and going back in August. Can’t wait!

    So pleased with our rental and our experience with My Vacation Haven. Have booked already for next year. The location couldn't have been better. The resort is gated but there are excellent sidewalks for walking and biking. The Luau property had the nicest pool in the resort and our unit was perfectly equipped for a month's stay. It was exactly as pictured on the web site. Check in was a breeze.

    Let's start with I was so worried on how the walk to the beach would be since we have stayed beachfront before, I was so surprised on how easy and fast it was. We loved the pool especially my kids, the condo was clean and the decor was beautiful there was a huge mirror in the room a big plus and had everything we needed. Only thing missing was bowls so my son could eat his cereal, we improvised no big deal. They provided beach gear the chairs provided were very comfortable. Bed was super comfortable.

    We enjoyed the place! Very nice view with nice balcony. Short walk to beach, maybe 5-7 minute walk. The condo was cute and everything worked properly! Overall it was clean! This is not the homeowners issue but we did have an issue getting in as we didn’t receive the gate code and had to call the property to get it. With everything being electronic it would have been nice to receive that via email without having to contact someone.

    My boyfriend and I had a great experience with our rental! It was very clean and the perfect set up. Just a few minute walk to the beach, and close to a good restaurant/bar across the street. There was some confusion with the gate and door codes, but Alex was there to help us along the way!

    We had a really nice stay here. I wasn’t sure if I would like the memory foam cover on the bed, but I really loved it. The furnishings were very nice and modern. The pool was great for the kids. The beach was a little walk away but it wasn’t too bad. We used the outdoor grilling area and it was great too. No shortcomings as far as I can tell. The staff was great too. We broke the rules and took glass to the pool. A staff member came by and instead of scolding us, he handed us a red Solo cup. Very nice. We had a great time.

    Nicely decorated condo. Furnishings were nice and in good shape. Did not use the sofa bed so cannot comment on it. Ample bedding, kitchen supplies, etc, with exception of very limited inventory of spoons and bowls.Large balcony with eating area, partly covered, view of gulf beyond the parking garage and Hilton. Pool was nice and walk to beach not that bad. Unit was clean and well-maintained, all appliances worked. Unit was part of a lock-out so there were two doors at entry - but no noise from other unit or from nearby elevator. Overall a good unit for a couple, probably OK for small children if they can sleep on the sofa.

    My husband and I stayed for seven nights in late April, early May and were very pleased with the accommodations. The building and pool are gorgeous. The condo has fantastic views and it was maintained nicely. Bonus for us was being able to use the beach chairs provided by the rental. Booking now for a Fall stay.
