About the Community of Luau
Just steps away from the beach is your Destin vacation destination, the Luau condominium. At the ground level, this property is home to plush landscaping which leads to the lagoon-style pool, kiddie pool, hot tub, swim-under waterfall, a Tiki and snack bar (open seasonally), and community grilling area. The pool deck area offers views of the Gulf of Mexico and its famous sugar white sand beaches. At the Luau condominium towers, you’ll enjoy additional amenities like gated and partially covered parking, high speed WiFi, a large fitness center overlooking the pool, community laundry facilities, and a spacious lobby area. The accommodations have studio, one, two, and three bedroom units with fully equipped kitchens (with the exception of studios) and open floor plans. The majority of the condos in the Luau towers provide panoramic views ranging from the Choctawhatchee Bay to the Gulf of Mexico to the Tops’l Preserve.     Wonderful room was very clean. Bed was super comfy though the couch bed may need updating it was rather loud an uncomfortable for the little one. Loved that it was secured 24/7 whom were nice an helpful when first arriving. Staff at the condo was friendly as well. Pool was lovely nice size an well maintained along with the hot tub. The walk to the beach wasn't bad maybe 2 mins. The restaurants were all amazing as well.

    Very comfortable bed, clean. I would have love coffee in the room, we had a pot but no coffee or filters. The room was roomy and fit our needs.

    Location is great and the amenities are amazing, walking distance to the beach and you can see the pool from your balcony. The studio could use a few updates as new mattress for the sleeper sofa, new shower head, carpet and bigger tv, other than that we had a great and will recommend and stay again.

    The rental is conveniently located and very easy to check into via the keycode lock on the door. Unit was clean and well kept. Highly recommend staying here if travelling with one with solo.

    My rental experience was phenomenal! The property management staff was very friendly and helpful the days leading up to our trip. The information and app they provided on the condo, the resort property and surrounding area was very easy to use and extremely helpful. The service was top notch and the check-in/check-out process was painless.

    The condo unit is amazing! It’s a fairly large-sized studio-much bigger than I anticipated from the photos. The balcony has a beautiful view of the swimming pool, golf course, and a view of the beach. It was very clean and comfortable. There was only two of us, but it could easily accommodate four people using the sleeper sofa.

    The location is awesome. The Sanderson Resort property has a 24-hour security post that you have to drive past to get into the resort. Only authorized vehicles are allowed in. On the way to the Luau towers you drive through the golf course and resort community. There is walking/running paths, a beautiful putting (putt-putt) course and many other things. There is a tram that you can take (with your condo badge) to travel around the resort. There is a team stop very close to the Luau Tower.

    The landscaping and overall care of the resort community is top. Itch. Very clean and beautiful. The pool is huge and has a separate infant/toddler pool and a separate spa/jacuzzi. The waterfall and island with palm trees made it even better. There is also a wonderful gas barbecue grilling/outdoor kitchen area about 100 feet from the pool (walking toward the parking garage). Parking is adjacent to the towers in a 2-story garage with elevator access to all of the floors from the first floor of the garage. Parking on the second floor will require a short walk past the barbecue area and into to the tower lobby.

    The beach is very close-only a 2-3 minute walk from the pool. There is a nice path and clean restrooms on the way and several outdoor shower areas to rinse off

    This was the perfect for my boyfriend's birthday weekend. We didn't have a view of the ocean, but it was still a breathtaking view. Super close to the beach (short walk), nice pool, but no chairs. Convenient location to grocery stores, pharmacy, and souvenirs. We did have to take a drive to Destin to rent Jet Skis, but it was worth the drive, except parking. We enjoyed our trip and plan to do it again in the near future! COVID didn't ruin our trip and neither one of us got sick (from COVID).

    We loved it! It’s a block from the beach, no car needed. The swimming pool is right next to the building. When you come back when the sun is coming down, the apartment welcomes you with the sun right in front of the sliding door, it’s beautiful! The AC works marvelously. We stayed 5days, so suggestions: If you are a coffee lover, bring your own coffee maker, and if you’re going to cook, bring an electric skillet. The bathroom is comfortably ample.

    We had a much needed vacation and was very pleased with our stay in Luau I 6406. The grounds,condo, pool, beach....great view from balcony....all beautiful. The room was perfect for two adults and one child. Called the number provided for a few questions and each time greeted with friendly and professional people who answered my questions quickly. No problems at all and will definitely come back next year if not before!

    This was our first experience using My Vacation Haven, but it certainly won't be the last. My fiancé and I had a hassle free check-in and loved the Luau property. Our room was clean, had a great view, plenty of towels, and came with beach chairs and an umbrella so we did not have to pay for those items each day we went to the beach. The staff at My Vacation Haven made sure we got to our room without any difficulties and that our vacation was as relaxing as possible. My favorite part of the Luau property was the short walk to the beach, the massive pool, and the great view from the sun deck. We will definitely be back and using My Vacation Haven when we return.

    I rented the Luau I unit 6406 for a meeting at Sandestin. Cost was less than our block rate and rooms is a generous size. This is a low floor room, so you don't have the views you do with other units, but the rate reflects that. Luau is a great choice--close to beach, great pool. Parking was limited the entire time I was there-if you arrive back late at night in the middle of the summer, you may not be able to aprk in the building.
