This Sweet Retreat is the pinnacle of modern farmhouse chic. Located in the Cypress Breeze community off State Road 393, this Florida vacation rental house hits every getaway sweet spot—it’s a short golf cart ride away from 30A beaches and a skip away from the area’s finest golfing, dining, and shopping. With numerous nature trails right outside your door, there is an adventure waiting for all!

But first, the house. Sweet Retreat has 4 bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and sleeps 12 guests. It’s perfect for a big family or a group of friends who like to have it all. Everything about the home is well-appointed. Wood and natural hues throughout lend a posh-but-rustic ambiance, making you feel pampered and relaxed. The first floor features a guest bedroom and sleeper sofa. The open concept floor plan is perfect for entertaining. The wine coolers and bar off the living space are a perfect touch. The kitchen is fully equipped with high-end stainless steel appliances, an apron sink, and white cabinetry.

There’s plenty of seating between the farmhouse table and the spacious counter bar. Additional seating and entertainment space is available outside on the paver stone patio. Overlook adjacent green space while you kick back and relax.

Upstairs you’ll find three additional bedrooms, including the master that offers a king bed, office desk, TV, and spacious en suite bath with a sprawling double vanity and custom-tiled walk-in shower. The second and third guest rooms have a king and a queen bed. There’s a twin over queen bunkbed in the hallway that the children will love.

During your stay, grab your access fob and take a dip in the massive, private, fenced community pool, or hop on your golf cart and head a mile up the road to the public beach access via Ed Walline Park. There’s also public parking and restrooms by the beach access. Later, drive down Highway 30A and visit the area hotspots like The Hub, Seaside, and more. There’s no limit to what you can do when you stay at Sweet Retreat!

    Our family just returned from our stay at Sweet Retreat. Our communication with the rental company was great and they checked in with us often to make sure everything was going well.

    We arrived at the house around 4 on checkin day and found the house to exceed our expectation. We've rented several VRBO houses and most seem to be overly used and "tired". This home is in very good condition.

    The home is located in a gated and safe community. I would guess it's located a mile from the beach but the golf cart and bikes made that an easy trek everyday. The golf cart was amazing. The garage had plenty of beach supplies like chairs and boogie boards that made it nice to not have to pack all of that.

    Santa Rosa Beach was busy while we were there but we went early and always had a place to sit. They ocean and beach were amazing. The shops and restaurants in the area were all very nice and we enjoyed a lot of time along the beach. We've stayed in Destin in the past but found this area much more laid back with much less traffic.

    The pool area in the gated community was nice but the water was freezing cold so we didn't spend much time in it. I could see families spending a lot of time there in the summer when the water has more time to heat up.

    We felt very safe in the community and let the kids take walks/bike rides alone. The permanent residents were very nice and we made sure to be respectful to them. This area is very quiet and not a party spot. If a party's what you desire, don't pick this area. It's very family friendly.

    Overall the place was great. Had large bedrooms and plenty of room for the kids to spread out and get some alone time at night. The beds were comfortable and the pantry was supplied with everything we needed from blenders to air fryers.

    We really enjoyed this home and location! It's at the top of the list of places we have stayed.

    We had the most wonderful stay in this fantastic property. Our group was 2 adults and 5 kids — we fit easily and with room to spare.

    We were able to sleep really well. This was in a very quiet gated community set back from the road. It was quiet, and we felt very safe. We were in bed by 9 or earlier every night and there was no noise.

    The favorite feature was the golf cart— driving it to the beach was so fun. The hosts have provided plenty of chairs and beach toys.

    We only used the community pool once because it was cold (we were there in October) but it was huge and would be great during the summer.

    Overall, a fantastic stay and we will book again if we come down to 30A again!

    We had a great time. The home is very clean and spacious. We all loved the backyard and covered patio. The area was very quiet and just an overall great place to stay. It’s a short drive to the beach.

    Our family of 6, including four children spanning infant-preteen, were very comfortable in this home. The golf cart was so convenient for beach trips! We had an issue with the gate code being out of date, as well as the pantry door being stuck closed with some appliances inside, and both were resolved extremely quickly by management. Beach chairs were the only beach “gear” provided, we weren’t sure what to expect there. The pool was closed for the season during our stay. The neighborhood was nice and the cul de sac was very quiet. My only suggestion is the home could use kitchen linens in addition to bath linens.

    We cities after working in the Atlanta and Auburn areas. We wanted a clean spacious home that allowed for us to just get away and not be connected to any crowds in Destin. House was exactly what we needed. Brand new experience. S.elled great, all the furniture was like new and there was so much room on the 1st floor and backyard for privacy.
