Shhh.. 5 of Our Favorite Secluded Emerald Coast Beaches!

Sea Oats
  1. Henderson State Park is more secluded in spite of the convenient location in the middle of Destin. The beach is extremely clean and the small crowd makes it even more enjoyable. This state park is one of the secret treasures of the Destin area. The park is open from 8 a.m. to sundown, and the park offers a pavilion, picnic areas, and a playground for the little ones to play in while the parents are catching up on reading, or a suntan.
  2. The Topsail Hill Preserve State Park offers a wide variety of natural resources including 3.2 miles of secluded, white sand beaches with majestic dunes over 25 feet tall. This Park also filled with lakes, fishing & camping options, plus amenities for RVs.
  3. Okaloosa Island Beach is part of Florida’s Emerald Coast and features spectacular, less crowded sugar-white sand beaches throughout the island. Okaloosa is connected to Fort Walton Beach & Destin via bridge.
  4. Crystal Beach is one of those beaches that are so close, but yet so far removed from the main action, that you will feel like you have the beach all to yourself! The park surrounding this little known beach also has a pavilion, restrooms, showers and picnic tables: All the essentials you need, with the added addition of peace and quiet.
  5. Grayton Beach State Park spans more than 2,000 acres, providing a quiet backdrop for the peace-seeking beach-goer. Visitors can swim, sunbathe, surf and even kayak or fish in the brackish waters of the park’s inner waterways. Instead of the high rises that line many of Florida’s more developed beaches, Grayton Beach is lined with coastal forest, which you can explore along the park nature trail.
