Pack a swimsuit when planning your trip to Emerald Coast, Florida. Many of the attractions and activities in this beautiful beach area involve water, so having your suit should be priority one. Next on the list could be some solid outdoor gear. Emerald Coast boasts more than 1,000 holes of golf, and is also called as the fisherman’s paradise, so pack accordingly. After you’ve put those few essentials in your suitcase, make arrangements for the rest of your trip.

Step 1

Brainstorm about the kind of vacation you’d like to take. Decide on a type of lodging you desire– is it a condo where you cook your own meals, or a fancy hotel where you can order room service? Emerald Coast, Florida offers a variety of water sports, water parks, golfing, shopping and dining, as well as two nature preserves to explore. Make a list of the things you’d like to do.

Step 2

Log onto one or more online booking websites and check rates. Emerald Coast does have a few airports, click here for more info. Compare the prices. Book your flight and condo, when you are ready to do so.

Step 5

Reserve a rental car if you plan to drive while you are along the Emerald Coast. In much of Florida, traveling by car or taxi is the only way to get around. Arrange for your own set of wheels to make for an easier vacation. However there is another option for those who wants to save money while on vacation. Step 6
