Salmon Dinner

Scenic Highway 30A is small stretch of paradise that’s nestled in the Panhandle of Northwest Florida. 30A is made up of unique beach communities that still offer that laid back lifestyle and local vibe that one expects from a Florida beach town. 30A consist of 16 major communities. Click here for more info. 14 of them have dining options within the community.  See our complete list below.

Elmo’s Grill (Dune Allen)

Elmo’s is a low-key, family-friendly spot to grab features such as peel-and-eat shrimp, seafood nachos and ice-cold beer. Indoor seating is available, or grab a spot on the covered porch and enjoy some live music.
6931 W. County Highway 30A Santa Rosa Beach, FL

The Perfect Pig (Gulf Place)

The Perfect Pig is a delightful café and gourmet market in Gulf Place. The Perfect Pig serves excellent breakfast, lunch, and dinner not to be missed! The South of France meets Napa Valley meets the Deep South in our adorable café. The hand-sliced bacon and ham, the hickory smoked pulled pork and chicken, the homemade sauces and sides, and the fresh baked muffins and desserts create the perfect meal. We’re comfortable, family-friendly, and we also have outdoor seating.
7 Town Center Loop, Unit C11 Santa Rosa Beach Florida 32459

Christiano’s (Santa Rosa Beach)

Chef Chris Chirum has been part of the Emerald Coast dining scene for 20 years, with such restaurants as The Elephant Walk and Frangista Seafood and Spirits. His Santa Rosa Beach creation serves deliciously authentic Italian cuisine.
4942 U.S. Highway 98 W. Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459

Highlands House (Highland Parks)

This quaint bed and breakfast — located directly on Scenic 30A in Santa Rosa Beach — recently opened an outdoor cafe that serves a delicious lunch and dinner menu, and features a strikingly beautiful new bar. Just a few steps from the Gulf across a pristine grass lawn, Highlands House is a gorgeous venue for weddings, family reunions and corporate events, but it’s also a chill place to hangout with friends over a good glass of vino. The new cafe and bar is open to the public.
4193 W County Highway 30A Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459

Johnny McTighe’s Irish Pub (Blue Mountain Beach)

Located in the peak of Blue Mountain Beach, Johnny McTighe’s is 30A’s only Irish Pub. McTighe’s features a casual lunch and dinner menu, and of course, a very well-stocked bar. Johnny McTighe’s is a favorite local hangout, with plenty of games, music and TVs to keep you entertained.
2298 W. County Hwy. 30A Blue Mountain Beach, FL 32459

Borago (Grayton Beach)
Locals always know best, and when I asked a Seaside resident of 20+ years where he likes to go out to eat, Borago was at the top of his list because, as he put it, the chef-owner consistently prepares meals that will “knock your socks off.”  And he was right! I recommend the three-meat Bolognese with cheese tortelloni and shaved parmesan cheese.
80 E County Highway 30A, Grayton Beach, FL 32459

Fish Out Of Water (Watercolor)
Located at Watercolor Resort, this is one of my favorite places for beachside dining with a view. They’re best known for their fresh local seafood and locally sourced produce, but my favorite meal there is their southern breakfast.
Goldenrod Circle on 30A, Watercolor, FL 32459

Bud & Alleys (Seaside)
Watching the sunset at Bud & Alleys rooftop bar has become a tradition for the oldest restaurant in Seaside. Since 1986, locals gather around to guess the exact time it will set. The bartender rings a bell when the golden orb finally sinks into the sea, and if you guessed the time correctly, you get a drink on the house.
2236 E County Highway 30A, Seaside, FL

Crabby Steve’s (Seacrest Beach)

Hidden away on the beach behind High Pointe Resort in Seacrest, it’s perfectly fine to walk right up to Crabby Steve’s and enjoy delicious food, cocktails (they have a full bar) and the spectacular Gulf view. Please walk up from the beach side though, and not through High Pointe Resort.
10254 East County Highway 30A, Seacrest Beach, Florida

The Hub (Watersound)

The Hub is a gathering place for family and friends on beautiful Highway 30a on the Florida panhandle, with great restaurants, entertainment, and shopping. It has a laid back atmosphere, a perfect setting for wedding welcome parties, bachelor/bachelorette brunches and gatherings, receptions and so much more! Their banquet program offers a variety food options and drink packages. For more info, email: banquets@hub30a.com.
7000 East County Highway 30A Watersound Beach, FL 32461

George’s (Alys Beach)
Amid the white stucco Mediterranean style homes in Alys Beach, you’ll find a quaint cottage with a friendly frog-faced logo welcoming you inside. This is George’s, where the menu is divided up into two categories: Behave, or Misbehave. I’d recommend behaving with the entree so that you can misbehave with one of their decadent desserts such as George’s brown sugar cheesecake with fresh cream caramel.
Corner of 30A and Castle Harbor Dr., Alys Beach, FL

723 Whiskey Bravo (Seagrove Beach)
From fun finger foods to elegant entrees, this is a great place to just hang out with friends or bring the whole family for dinner. The rooftop area has a cozy vibe with great ocean views and the menu has some tantalizing options, including their own twist on Gulf Shrimp and Grits with blue corn cheese grits and andouille sausage.
3031 Scenic Highway, 30A, Seagrove Beach

La Cocina (Rosemary Beach)

This colorful Mexican grill lures in diners with the scent of hot melted queso and grilled meats.  For a beachside twist on a traditional favorite, try the lobster quesadilla, or order one of their generous portions of enchiladas, burritos, tacos, and fajitas.  Pose in front of their hand painted mascot, the adorable LuLu, for a memorable vacation photo.
10343 E County Highway 30A, Rosemary Beach, FL

Barbacoa Mexican Grill (Inlet beach)

Barbacoa, one of the newer additions to 30Avenue in Inlet Beach, specializes in healthy Mexican food. Huge burritos, burrito bowls, burrito salads, burrito soup and tacos are prepared while you watch — you choose the ingredients you want included. Open for lunch and dinner every day of the week (Sun-Wed 11 a.m. – 8:30 p.m., Thurs-Sat 11 a.m. – 9 p.m.). Also open on Saturday and Sunday morning for breakfast from 8-11 a.m.
