Reservations & Fees

1. How do I make a reservation?

To make a reservation, please call our toll free reservation line at 1-800-553-0188 or you can conveniently reserve online at My Vacation Haven

2. What is the processing fee?

An administrative fee charged on all reservations for the processing of the reservation.

3. What is the Baytowne Assessment F.E.E.?

It is a fee collected by the Village of Baytowne Wharf for the festivals, events, and entertainment.

4. Can I put this on hold till I can speak with my Spouse?

No, I am sorry we cannot hold a reservation without payment/deposit.

5. Once paid, what is your reservation cancellation policy?

If your Arrival Date is more than 15 days from your reservation Origination Date you may cancel up to 5 days after the Origination Date of your reservation with a minimal charge of $50.00. After 5 days from the Origination Date, My Vacation Haven, LLC will not issue a refund without Travel Guard Insurance. If the Origination Date of your reservation is within 15 days of your Arrival Date, there will be no refund. Vacation insurance through Travel Guard is recommended. Please see your itinerary for details to purchase or call 1.877.249.5376 reference product 008574 P1 and account number 144952 for the best customer support. Refunds obtained from Travel Guard are subject to their policies and conditions. If you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know immediately and if you purchased insurance through Travel Guard, contact them to start your claim. In the event of a mandatory evacuation a refund will not be given if the Guest does not purchase Travel Guard Insurance prior to the event being named.

6. Is there a damage deposit?

If you are paying with a credit card there is not a damage deposit. If you will be paying by check, cash, or e-check there is a $300.00 damage deposit required.

7. What do I need to put down to hold the unit? What is the deposit?

1/3 of the total amount is due immediately to hold your reservation and full payment (the remaining balance) is required 60 days prior to arrival. If you are booking your reservation within 60 days of the arrival date, then full payment is due at the time of booking.

9. Can I book a one night rental?

Most of our properties have a 3 night minimum. However, you can book just one night, based on availability, if you are booking within 7 days of your arrival date.

10. Where do I find the security code on the credit card?

American Express has a 4 digit code on the front of the card, and all others have a 3 digit code on the back of the card.

11. When can I purchase the Travel Insurance?

You can purchase the Travel Guard Vacation Rental Insurance at any time prior to when the final payment is due on your reservation. So, if you are booking within 60 days of arrival, then insurance can only be purchased at the time of booking or insurance can be purchased up to 24 hours prior to arrival, but coverage would be more limited, contact Travel Guard for more information at 1.888.409.7749.

12. Is maid service available?

Yes, maid service is available for an additional fee. Services are performed Tuesdays & Thursdays only between 10:00am and 2:00pm. Includes:

· dust, sweep & vacuum – wipe down balcony
· remove trash and replace liners
· load dishwasher or unload and wipe counter tops
· remake the beds with existing sheets
· replenish amenities
· replenish towels

Cleaners will not move any personal belongings. If items are on beds, counters, etc… the cleaners will work around them.


Amenities

13. How can I get an amenities card?

To receive a Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort amenity card with your rental you would need to rent directly through Sandestin® Golf and Beach Resort. They are not available for purchase. 14. Can I still play golf or tennis?

Yes, please contact us directly for more info!

15. What pools do I have access to?

You have access to the pool designated at your neighborhood/building and/or the Florida Owners Association Pools (SOA) located near Fairways and Heron Walk.

16. Can I use any of the gyms on property?

Bahia, Beachside Towers, Elation, Grand, Inspiration, PilotHouse, Lasata, Luau and Westwinds have onsite fitness centers forexclusive guest use. Other fitness centers include Serenity by the Sea Spa 850-622-9595; Gold’s Gym 850-837-7071; Destin Health & Fitness 850-650-5104.

17. Do I get a discount on anything at the Resort or in the area?

Yes, My Vacation Haven wants you to have the best beach vacation possible, so we have secured a wide array of discounts on fun activities, dining, shopping and services for use during your stay. We provide “added fun” discounts, valued at over $1300, when you book your vacation with My Vacation Haven! These discounts are providedat our merchant partners in and around Florida Golf & BeachResort, with our provided coupons.

18. What supplies do you provide with my reservation?

Your reservation includes a one-time linen and towel set-up, an initial set up of trash liners, bathroom paper, paper towels, hand soap, laundry detergent, and dishwasher detergent.

BEACH TOWELS – Bring your ownbeach towels, we do not permit towels to be taken out of the unit. Do not take unit linens to the beach or pool. All condo linens must remain in the condo.

19. How can I get an amenity card at Tops’l?

Amenity cards at Tops’l areavailable for purchase at the Tops’l Resort front desk if you are renting a unit whose owner is a club member.


Arrival & Departure

20. If I get there early and no one is there, can I check in early?

We have moved our standard checkin time from 4pm central to 3pm to accommodate an earlier arrival for our guests. We can provide an early check in of 12pm, for a fee of $50 plus tax ONLY if your accommodations are available. If you would like to take advantage of an early check in, please contact us 24 hours prior to your arrival so we can make adjustments to your door code and notify the appropriate parties. If you need a check in time before noon you will need to extendyour reservation for one more night.

21. Before check-in, where can I put all of my perishable items?

Sorry, we have no facilities to store food and beverages. Publix is located just east of the resort if you need to purchase a cooler and/or ice. We also have grocery delivery available for set up prior to arrival; go to www.thebeachbutlers.com for more information.

22. Where is your office located?
